Absolutely terrible service today. I asked the cook, cashier all in one if I could add the brisket and coleslaw to an order of onion rings and stead of fries, he told me it’ll be $11.99 plus the cost of the onions rings. Hell, the loaded brisket fries is 11.99. I can see me paying more to upgrade my fries to onions, but aint no way it should cost me $16.
Then the onion rings were cold, I went back in and asked for hot onion rings, and all he did re-dropped the old onions in grease.
Pissed is an understatement.
Lefty’s do better.
The people of Belleville, MI deserves better.

A couple of months ago I ordered 2 Lefty’s Cheesesteaks with added extra cheese, added fresh cut grilled mushrooms, and added spicy cherry peppers. Got home to find no peppers. I was annoyed because I had 2 and that’s an additional $2. I called and they offered for me to come back. Umm yeah I’m not driving 40 minutes round trip just for peppers, can you just refund me $2? No, fine. I get it.
We tried again today. THE SAME order as above. Before leaving I unstapled and checked my bag for peppers, NO PEPPERS. Asked if maybe they were already on the sandwich. Didn’t get an answer – the woman at the counter asked something of the cook in I believe Arabic (I’m also Arab, I don’t look it but I know enough) – surprise! No peppers on the sandwich or on the side so she gave me my peppers and I left. Mind you the sandwiches are wrapped and taped up so I’m not going to undo them right there. So of course when I got home, NO FRESH CUT GRILLED MUSHROOMS.
Goodness it’s plain as day on my receipt (I have photos of the sandwiches and the receipt showing my very CLEAR order. It’s like NOTHING added was even paid attention to. I have no idea if extra cheese was added but I’m going to assume so since it seemed fairly cheesy. It’s just a bit ridiculous. I will not be going back to this location. Two chances is more than enough especially when everything added on is not cheap and I almost walked out with $4-5 of add-ons missing – my total for these 2 was $39.33! Once again, another couple bucks gone just because. Definitely unwrap your sandwiches and check that they’re correct if you’re picking up because in my experience they haven’t been. *sigh*

I have ordered from there three times feeling like maybe I’m missing something. Everything I’ve had is terrible. The cheesesteak I’ve gotten twice is a sopping wet sandwich, not very good at all. Then their onion rings, wings, and corned beef egg rolls. The oils has tastes like it’s weeks old. I will never order from this place again. Idk how they’re still open

Not sure what’s going on here, we waited like 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches and fries. 15 mins nobody else was even in the restaurant. Our sandwiches were super soggy and fell apart.

Food was good. I went to visit in the evening time so it was clean and empty. I tried their Munchin W/ Michael hoagie which was okay for the most part. I should of got it in the fry version instead of the sandwich (next time). I also had there Cheesesteak Eggs rolls, they are so good! Also got to try the Brisket Loaded Fries, they were good but could of used a little more cheese.
Overall, my experience was good and the food came up pretty quickly.

Do not like AI taking my order…can’t personalize it. Very disappointed i my sandwich, which tasted more like crusty grill residuals than beef. It was great when it first opened. Bummer.

My son and I were traveling through Detroit, and we always like a good cheesesteak sandwich, so we decided to stop here.
They offered a number of sandwiches. Most of them featured steak or chicken, but they also offered corned beef, brisket and other options.
We both ordered 8” Sam’s Cheesesteak sandwiches (#4 on the menu) and really enjoyed them. There was plenty of meat and cheese, plus the buns were super soft. The menu states that this sandwich had cheese sauce, which my son had them remove. On the checkout screen, it said, “Nacho cheese,” but I didn’t find it spicy at all.
There isn’t a whole lot of seating in the restaurant, maybe 10-12 tables. But it wasn’t busy while we were eating, so we didn’t have trouble finding a place to sit.
Lefty’s is sandwiched between QDOBA and Starbucks (technically between a vision place and AT&T), so parking might be tight if all the restaurants are busy.
We both recommend Lefty’s and will probably be back if we’re in the area again.

DO NOT ORDER from this location they are completely incompetent and want to overcharge you for food that sucks. I ordered a hoagie and they packed it sideways and upside down so when you opened it it exploded everywhere(I wish i could post a pic)and I ordered cheese steak eggrolls they gave me corned beef.
