Ridiculous pricing for how tiny their portions were and how bad the food was. Don’t know why other people claim to like the Hat-Yai Fried Chicken, 3/5 pieces were way overfried, borderline burnt and had almost no flavour for something supposedly marinated. Not to mention the “sweetened sour dip” literally being the sweet and sour sauce you get from the plastic packets at chinese takeout places. The Gaeng Panang Nuer was even more disappointing, the bowl came with about 5 spoonfuls of curry. Curry itself was the most oily curry I’ve ever had in my life and the beef was unbelievably dry for being braised. Next, the Pad Z U was the only dish decent enough to actually finish, but even then, I’ve had better elsewhere. To top it off, there were constantly flies buzzing around our heads and table and I finally gave up on even trying to finish my food once a fly landed in it. Not that I really wanted to finish my food anyways. Service was not great, the waiter seemed confused about how to fit our dishes on the table when we had only ordered 1 appetizer and 2 entrees lol. Overall, huge disappointment and waste of money. Don’t be fooled by the nice interior, I do not recommend eating here.

Food was REALLY DELICIOUS. Haven’t really tried Thailand food that fits with my taste buds, this place does. Their server is friendly and kind, atmosphere is authentically warm and comfy! Would love to go back.
Their mango sticky rice is really good. Love all the food, they cab match up my level of spicy.

After visiting the Pemberton (and not really being attracted to any food there) my growling belly + Thai craving led me to Ledu Thai. This was my first time dining! We floated right in and were seated right away. Their menus were enticing and had lots to choose from. For drinks we had two of their craft cocktails. For entrees, my friend had crab fried rice and I (vegan) had the Pad Z U without meat (9/10). Everything was delicious and the vibes were immaculate. I love how the interior is the designed and the bar is extremely inviting. We sat outside because the weather was beautiful and it was such a pleasure. I wish our server had a bit more personality/warmth Otherwise, 8/10 experience

I do recommend for Thai food in Phoenix considering quality options are very limited. However, more vegan-friendly options are definitely necessary!

As always, very grateful for the experience

XOXO,
Empress

Super cute spot with pretty authentic cuisine. The tom yum soup was superb. And there was real crab meat in their entrees! Oh and the drinks were so tasty and strong, yum. Would recommend!

Outstanding Valentine Day venue for that special one in your life. Make sure you book one of the two têat-a-têat booths for privacy.

Food – fresh and spicy. (Medium was more than spicy enough for me.)

Service – fast and with a smile.

I crave Thai food so I just went there to get food to go for dinner, but end up eating it in the car
Their Kua kling (spicy 3) is very good. The authentic way will have more herb and dry stir fried, But their version is also veryyyy good!!

I am Thai by the way. Really recommend this place!

Very good cooked-to-order Thai cuisine. They use authentic Thai spices and will adjust the heat accordingly. Nicely spiced soup, well-cooked pork belly, and good wings. The staff is very friendly.

This place has been on my list for months and we were finally in the area. If you love Glai Baan but can’t handle the parking or elusive seating, this is your place.

I had the Krapow pork and it may be life-changing. The most perfectly crisped, flavorful pork belly, with a sauce that I will dream about. The papaya salad was perfection – my wife saying it’s the best she’s had since SoCal. And don’t get me started about the drinks – rum with absinthe? Two please!

The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the banana roti. The banana and roti were lovely, but so much could have been done to step up the level of the dish. A condensed milk ice cream, or brûlée the bananas, something more than just bananas on bread. But for real – I love banana sandwiches, just usually with peanut butter.

All in all, a nearly flawless meal that I will hopefully be back many times more to enjoy.

LeDu was a FANTASTIC find.Great ambiance/energy, artsy decor, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN,great location(parking challenging, but TOTAL worth it),FIRST CLASS service,indoor/outdoor seating, private reserved seating inside & the food was authentic filled with LOTS of flavor with spice ordered to your liking & lots of dishes to try from the menu.Definitely somewhere I’ll be going back to real soon. If you’re nearby it would be good to uber especially on the weekends because it’s located in a very busy “night scene” artsy park of town where there’s lots of restaurant & club life. You’ll have a GREAT time. Enjoy!!! Say Hi to our awesome server Jay Jay Y 🙂
