Ok… I am fat… I am a food guy… I am glad I don’t live in SLC… This place would make me weigh 500 pounds. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had!

I came here maybe more then 15yrs ago& had the best pancakes. Fast-forward to 2025 — cheese fries are still but the breakfast was a letdown. Lemon blueberry pancakes were a bit burnt, Eggs Benedict missed the mark, and the potatoes had no flavor. Service was fine, though the waitress checked in a little too often. Overall, not a spot I’d return to.

What a great vibe. If you are looking for a home cooked meal that you would eat with neighbors and friends at the local grill this is the spot. The halibut is delicious!

The GOAT diner in Salt Lake City.
Legit diner with barstool seating and all the amenities of the 80s- minus the cigarette machine and being able to smoke inside.
We ordered the Chorizo con huevos and the Bacon and guyere sauce omelet with coffee.
We showed up at 9:30 AM on a Tuesday morning. Plenty of seating. Service was quick and efficient. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot off the grill.
The chorizo was lightly spicy and paired well with the huevos and veggies. I enjoyed the home fries with my order along with corn tortillas.
The omlet was cooked well with a generous portion of guyere sauce covering. Paired with home fires and toast.
The waitresses here are friendly, helpful, and provide quick service from the kitchen.
The restaurant is neat and tidy and homey.
Coffee is hot and delicious.
Try them out, they have a great menu with delicious offerings.

Did a breakfast stop and was slighly disappointed. The service was great, out server was nice and attentive. Got right in and ordered quick. The eggs were undercooked , which I could of sent back, but decided to trudge through it. Bacon was nice and crispy, and the hash browns were a nice sliced potatoes with some green peppers in it. Price was about what was expected. We will try again, sure just a one off on the runny eggs i received. The atmosphere was nice with the 70s feel of small town Americana.

Small town diner vibes near the city! Loved the atmosphere at this cafe. They will not let your drink get below halfway, always making sure to fill up your cup when they passed by.
Food was delicious, I got eggs Benedict, and my partner got the smoked salmon scramble. We also go pie to go! We came on a Sunday afternoon, and didn’t have to wait! 10/10 experience.

Gotta love the old school classic diners like this place. The vibe is so welcoming. Service was fantastic and my only regret is not trying any PIE! Great breakfast joint the home fries potatoes were delicious cooked up with peppers and onions. Western omelette was cooked just right! on the side if you’re wanting to add a crispy breakfast meat. Get out and support genuine places like this as they’re becoming more and more rare.

Definitely one of the best diner’s in the Salt Lake Area. They have a classic atmosphere and if you are looking for a real breakfast, this is it. They also have pie… And so yeah…
I’m always way too full to get a slice by the time I’ve finished my plate, but I can imagine.
***I’m not a leaving review type, but when it’s this good, have to.

The spinach artichoke dip appetizer and clam chowder were excellent! The entrées-not so much. Maybe it was an off day for the staff, but we were still disappointed The atmosphere was not inviting at all, though I did appreciate the waitress being nice enough. I wish we could’ve tried the pies.

A great pancake. The best we’ve had in this city. Fast service, clean and lots of art. Friendly people. We parked across the street and took the cross walk- they’re busy on President’s Day but glad they’re open and not closed. We got the coconut cream pie and will have to come back for the peach pie with homemade whipped cream. Will definitely come here again. Thank you, Julia!
