Stopped up to visit my daughters for lunch and we decided to try Left Field Tavern. I got the cajun chicken sandwich with the aioli fires. And one got the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Definitely stop in and try.

For the love…I have never waited so long for literally everything. The best way to explain is that it’s not just under staffed…which in todays climate I try not to judge too harshly but…wow. It could have been way better managed to have been a much better experience. We sat in the bar area at a high top and while one waitress leisurely took care of one table and the GM/bartender just kicked it behind the bar while we watched one waitress run herself ragged trying to take care of the entire restaurant. The GM SHOULD BE ASHAMED. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT.

The big pretzel appetizer was excellent — very tasty cheese/beer sauce with it! Good service! I had the chicken salad and spinach wrap which wasn’t much to my taste, while my wife had a cheese steak with pretty tough meat. Enjoyed watching Olympic Rugby on the numerous TVs while eating.

One of my favorite places in Oxford. You don’t really need a reservation- for wingo though go early. Great drink selection and the food is so good too. Feels like a regular town bar but is such a great place to go with your friends. The Toasted Ravioli is unreal I still dream about it.
