in the midst of a seattle natural wine renaissance, left bank stands out as an obvious idiosyncratic classic. right across the south park bridge, next to a laundromat, doesn’t really have a bathroom inside and yet – dare i say it – the hands down best bottle program in city. we of course love left bank not just for the wine, skill, presentation, and passion, but for the community and care involved in making this whole thing work. not just a “vibe” but a whole world unto itself.

As an interior designer I tend to over analyze spaces. We came as a group of designers and builders and were pleasantly surprised to learn they had designed the space on their own. Loved the wine wall as they price the wine on the bottles. It made me want to try the wine even more. Inside is small, but they do have a really nice sized patio.

Love this natural wine shop! Always great recommendations and new bottles to try. They were kind enough to put together a mixed case based on my preferences and let me do contactless curbside pickup. Even wrote tasting notes on each bottle for me – great service! Thank you!

This place was great. I was hesitant to walk in at first because it looked like it might be a very swanky wine bar, but when my partner and I walked in we were greeted by the bartender (owner?) who was incredibly welcoming, kind and knowledgeable about the selection. He immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable and gave some great recommendations with no pressure to spend a ton of money. I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience and have told others to go there since then. I support this place in all of it’s down to earth glory!

I never thought I would like a wine house, but Left Bank is perfect! Cozy, wonderful wood decor, and just a feeling of home as you drink wine around strangers. It has amazing prices. Knowledgeable staff and owners who are very friendly and helpful. Not a bad thing about this place! Highly reccomend, especially if you want to buy a nice bottle for an occasion
