There are only so many Korean spots in Monterey Park, so I come to Lee’s every now and then for some Korean comfort food. Even though the menu prices are a little higher than your average Korean meal, the service and taste never misses. I love the tofu soups, kimbap, cold noodles, and ban chan. Also can’t go wrong with any of their meats or variety of entrees they have!

They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.

Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.

Good Korean food but a little pricier than other Korean restaurants. We shared three plates. We started with the mushroom tofu mild, this dish was my favorite. My daughter loved the second dish- the bibimbap, it was also really good. The third dish was the spicy pork. I thought all three dishes were delicious.
The service was ok, the staff could have been a little more attentive.
I would come for the convenience in location and the delicious food.

Food is very well prepared. Tasty and definitely quality tofu soup. Service is friendly and very attentive.

Atmosphere is normal restaurant nothing special but nothing abnormal.

Their portions are average. For me, ive had tofu from some of their other competition that was more memorable and heftier in portions.

Have enjoyed coming to this place for years. Hot tofu soup, and bulgogi on a cold day hits the spot anytime. The pricing may seem a little high, but for the amount of food and quality taste it’s well worth it. Highly recommend giving them a try when in the Monterey Park area.

Goodness bubbling hot in an iron cast bowl – the beef soon tofu soup!! Little bits of beef, I like its not a lot or huge slices…this isca soup for people who love silken tofu. The banchan is nice and the whole fried fish is a surprise. Nice open atmosphere. Efficient service, watchful so not hard to flag them, but no checkins. Students there doing homework, so clearly no one rushes you out.
A good place in a busy mini mall for solid Korean food…special discounts during weekdays…. and they have ice cream macaroon desserts. Yum.

Solid spot for tofu soup. Simple, no frills interior. I got the oyster tofu soup. It was really good. The banchan is ok. Also liked the bulgogi. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot.

The bulgogi was not the best but the mushroom tofu soup was amazing. Loved the pickled veggies. I’m adding this place as a favorite. The Korean style fried squid was probably the star fish of the night.
