There are many selections of food and drinks as a fast food store. Food are good and fresh. It is very convenient to bring to park, hiking, picnic, or long distance driving. Service is good too. They can speak English and Vietnamese. Atmosphere is ok. There is no seat inside restaurant but there is a restroom that customers can use.

Food:
The selection of food here is huge. They have not only the sandwiches, but a whole bunch of snacks. Their cold products is large and actually cold compared to other Lee’s sandwiches.

Language:
The cashier speaks English & Vietnamese.

Services:
The employees are busy. They are quick and fast to get your order. The cashier is amazing.

Ambience:
Very warm. Feels like a mini market. There is 6 small tables. Walls have marking. It can do for a new paint job. It looks more like the Vietnamese style vs the western version that are popping up recently.

I lived and worked in Orange County and used to love going to Lee’s in Westminster. We moved to Idaho and I so missed their sandwiches. Well work brought me to San Jose today so I couldn’t wait to go eat there and they didn’t disappoint! I have no idea what it is about their sandwiches but they are my favorite. The shrimp spring roll was also really good. Sorry my photo only showed one as I had already devoured the other two 🙂

I ordered the NY pastrami which was overall fairly good. The meat was a bit cold and rubbery though.

Wonderful location off 880/680 freeways. They have everything here except for the French butter in the can. Spam and egg, surf and turf, sardines, grilled pork sandwiches here… fresh baguettes, pate, butter in the fridge… ice coffee, pennywort, thai tea drinks… spring rolls, and many more goodies here.

The fresh baguettes are always awesome at Lee’s. I’m really enjoying that this location has been filling the sandwiches with even more meat and veggies lately! Stop in for authentic banh mi. Tastes just like in Vietnam!

Bread was incredibly hard. Tofu extremely chewy cold and flavorless. I calmly asked for my money back and the woman screamed at us in Vietnamese and then proceeded to pint at us while continuing to yell and to other customers while we waited silently for our money back from the sandwiches we STRUGGLED to take one bite from. This experience was gross. Sad. Lees used to be the best. It was worth driving to the bay even though we lived in the valley. Least we can save on gas now.

The grilled pork sandwich tastes great, love the sweetness of the pork and generous pickled veg and cilantro to balance. The only thing I’d do next time is ask for the bread NOT TOASTED because otherwise you will rip a hole through the roof of your mouth and need your jaw unhinged. You’re welcome! The place was super busy on a Sunday afternoon, have to give them credit. There’s plenty of snacks, drinks and various grab and go items as well. Word of caution: there’s definitely a language barrier. If you speak Vietnamese, you’re in luck. If not, just point, nod and say thank you! 🙂 Don’t forget the iced cafe sua da which is like rocket fuel, prepare to blast off afterwards! Overall, love this place. Definitely must try if you’re craving Vietnamese food.
