First time at this location, came on a Thursday at 5:30am, definitely busier than I expected. I recommend using their app to order ahead of time, or using the tablets to the right when you walk in to order, that’s what I did as I was only getting coffee. I think why people may think the service is slow is because it doesn’t seem that it’s about getting people in and out. Even while I was there the cashier was taking her time to help the folks, and maybe it’s just a culture thing, where we all expect things immediately. Idk just a thought lol I didn’t try the food, however they do have a happy hour which would be a good opportunity to try food items out. I am just happy it is 24 hours and I can get my lees at any time. Also if you sign up for their app you get a free coffee or baguette

They have the best baguettes here!! I ordered the Turkey & cheese croissant sandwich and it was warm and fresh 🙂 they also have yummy drinks and desserts. I love their honeydew smoothie the most.

Nice and clean and no bad smells when I first walked into Lee’s. There was also no line which is a good thing at around 4pm.

The sandwiches are a little more than I would like to pay for. Also they charge for hoisin sauce which is complete B.S. if you ask me.

They went from a perfect five star down to three just because of that. I mean c’mon dude. I just paid almost 9 dollars for two sandwiches and you want to charge me extra 50 cents which is always free at other places!!! No thank you!!!

Besides that though the sandwiches are bomb and I definitely recommend!

This is why I dont came to this location, its seems like they are stingy with there food.

I got one piece of everything, in my sandwich. Not just that, looks like the tomato was sitting there since yesterday.
The cheese was hard at the end, and the bread. I think it was the leftovers from yesterday. Hard as a rock, got cuts on top of my mouth from it.

This is so ghetto the sauce didn’t have peanuts in it nor spices and was half empty. Looks like they just poured a different sauce in the bottle the pork in the spring roll smelled really bad and there was a hair in one of the spring rolls really not coming back to any lees again this is ridiculous

Food was not good at all. Lady was rude and watched me eat. Food left a bad aftertaste. Expensive. Lady wiped forehead sweat then made food. Food looked expired/left out for days

Great Customer service. However, they don’t carry the Coffee styles that I was looking for … and told me to go to either their main store at the corner of Brookhurst Street & Westminister Avenue … or to Hoa Binh – the local supermarket instead.

Lee’s Sandwiches is a classic. If you’re craving Vietnamese coffee, this is the spot. It’s sweet, creamy, packed with caffeine, and ice cold. I’ve been coming to this location since I was a kid and they’ve always had a lot of customers. It’s still here too which goes to show you how good this particular location is.

Their banh mi are always tasty and consistent. Prices have gone up a bit over time, but it’s still a reliable go-to when you want something satisfying and quick.

False Advertising and Misleading Receipt – Beware Customers

My dad recently visited Lee’s Sandwiches (Fountain Valley, CA) and bought 4 bottles of Lee Café coffee. There’s a promotion and the receipt clearly confirm the advertises: “BUY-2-GET-1 FREE Lee Cafe 16oz Btl.” Based on this, my dad expected the promotion to apply.

However, he was charged for all 4 bottles ($19.00). When he came home, he told me about it. I called the store, the cashier confirmed with me the coffee promotion is buy 2 get 1, I told him to do the math with me, he admitted each bottles cost $5.50, the result shows the total in the receipt doesn’t match with the advertise, he asked me to wait, then the manager took the call, she started with a raising voice and said the promotion is no longer active, but also said the system still prints the advertisement on every receipt due to the corporation control and they “don’t know how to remove it.” This is extremely misleading and invalid excuses. No apology was offered for the misleading advertisement or the overcharge. Customers are being shown a promotion that no longer exists, which is textbook false advertising and a bait-and-switch business practice. If the promotion is expired, it should be removed immediately from receipts so people aren’t misled at checkout. I could take further action, but my kind dad told me to just send them a message to tell them to practice business with honesty and send awareness to the community.
