If mom and pop places are your thing, please stop here. Restaurant was very clean including restrooms. I loved the face you can see your food being cooked. Burgers could use a little more seasoning but still overrall dang awesome burgers. The ladies were very sweet and attentive to all the customers eating. Will be back.

I will attempt to not be rude because I know what it’s like to be a small business owner, but I have to be earnest. Although it was edible, the burger had a weird texture and had pink to it. The buns were cheap and had a bland taste as well as the burger and fries. The pricing was outrageous for the ingredients that they served to us. The customer service was somewhat decent, but when we walked in or left, there were no greetings whatsoever. We paid for pies, but then as our food came out, we waited for our pies to come out. Eventually, they came back after forgetting to get our tea. We had to ask her about the pies, and they told us that they do not have pies rather than telling us beforehand. We still paid full price, and she thought that the equivalent to not having the pies and paying for it is not charging us for cheese. This was subpar, and I wouldn’t recommend this place especially for their egregious pricing for two burgers, small fries, and drinks being almost $40.

My husband and I used to eat here all growing up, and for anyone that grew up eating Lee’s just know it is NOT the same. You will find a better burger at Burger King, the chili in the chili cheese fries was terrible, I made the mistake of taking a couple of bites and I regret it as soon as I got home. Im not exactly sure what has happened to this place but I’m sure it won’t be long before it closes down.

Terrible atmosphere! Old, dark, and dirty! They say the combos come with pies but then told us they were out and “didn’t charge us for cheese”. That makes no sense because the combo price includes pies so they should’ve discounted or at least told us when we ordered and not when they brought our food to the table without them. Burgers were under cooked to my liking and fries were not seasoned AT ALL! Not even salt. Major disappointment all the way around. Spend your $20 somewhere else!

Service was great, I went around 4:30 and it was nice and quiet, food was okay, the apple pie was edible but not something I would actively seek out, the fries weren’t bad, the burger was okay, it was cooked well, toppings were in good proportions but the pattie itself had a weird texture, not sure if it is due to it being frozen or if they just had some weird ground beef but it was crumbly, like wet meaty cornbread, granted the flavor was pretty good I am very particular when it comes to textures so not my favorite thing in the world. My biggest issue of all though is the price. Just shy of $18.00 and and was just ok, I could get a full meal and better food at Chick-fil-A and spend less. I could even feed two people for that. If the food was better I would be more understanding. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Stop 2 Shop is only ten minutes away from here and they have Better food, Larger Variety (poboys, burgers, wings, Mediterranean dishes such as gyros, falafel, schawarma, roasted lamb, and better prices. And it’s not even a regular restaurant, it’s a liquor store that also serves food.

Living in a small town, you are bound to find mom and pop places. While Lee’s share the same name as the larger franchise brand, it is wholly owned and operated by a family in the town of Slidell. You can definitely tell based on the aesthetic, as it has been around since the 1950s. Even the cash register has survived many storms.
As for the menu, the choices are your usual, albeit in abundance. The burgers, club sandwiches, hot sausage, etc…all with varying sizes for any one person. However, the difference i have noticed is how they never changed the formula and (from what I observed), the sizes remained, and even larger.
I ordered the 1 lb Lee Burger with a large fries. First time, with the caramelized onions into the one pound beef, and currently, without it. I have to say, the caramelized onions really settled a very filled and satisfied experience on a nicely tasted, albeit slightly soft bun. This further cements my self-described “Burgermeister” title, as someone who values quality and Lee’s delivered.
This establishment off of W Gause is truly a fine place to dine-in, dine-out and even a place to hang out, as there is a skate ring nearby (walking distance). So, when you have the chance, check out Lee’s Hamburgers off of W Gause in Slidell. The small time quality in food and familiarity remains utterly prevalent there.

Great find! Hamburgers were great, but if you want a treat get the roast beef on French and a side of loaded fries!! SO good!! Really nice servers, clean and family friendly!

The employees were not friendly, my burger was pink and not cooked well. The fries had no flavor. The place was not clean. They left the pies off and didn’t tell us they were out. I will never go back . it was 34.00
