If you’re looking for a good southern “this is my Granny’s cooking” kind of meal, you will not be disappointed. You get cafeteria choices with healthy portions and simple homemade desserts. If you don’t leave full as a tick on a hound dog, you ain’t from the South!

My husbandand I stopped here this evening. We both got the hamburger plate. It was absolutely disgusting. The burger was hard as a rock inside and out. I gave a 1 star review across the board. Three people there and all 3 seemed very unfriendly. We will never return back to this place again. I wish I could post short video of the burger, but only accepts videos.

Love their cornbread, it is moist and thick, kinda like a cake.
So many entrees to choose from, bbq, hamburgers steak, fried chicken…. etc…
Their side is hit and miss, some of them taste like it is from a can, like their yam and green beans.
Locals love to stop by for lunch in this little store.
Their decorations are very antique like a cracker barrel, but it is authentic.

I’ve been a fan of Lee’s Country Kitchen in the past, but my most recent visit was deeply disappointing and far from what I’ve come to expect. From the moment we walked in, the service was unwelcoming and unprofessional, leaving the impression of a workforce that simply does not care.
The quality of the food also left much to be desired. The biscuit I was served was burned—an obvious oversight that should never have made it to the table. This, combined with the lack of attentiveness from the staff, made it clear that Lee’s is no longer striving to meet the standards they once upheld.
Greenville has no shortage of great dining options, and unfortunately, Lee’s Country Kitchen has fallen far behind. I hope they take steps to improve their service and food quality because, as it stands, there are far better options in the area.

I went there because I had a taste for a hot dog. A lady came from the cooking area and asked if she could help me. Due to only seeing breakfast items on the big menus, I asked her if they sold hot dogs. I don’t think she understood me because she said, “Two hot dogs, how do you want them, anything else.” She was strictly business and possibly due to working so hard, didn’t have time to show any friendliness as she left me to go grab the dogs.
As I waited, I observed a political sign under the daily special menu that supported a political party. I’m not supportive of that party and got aggravated that a business would be so disrespectful of customers so that they boldly supported one candidate. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and walked over to the lady and asked her to cancel my order. She asked me why, but I was too upset to respond in a Christian manner, so I just waved my hand and said “that’s alright” and went outside to get my phone to photograph the sign. When I got back to the front door, I realized they had the same sign on the door which I failed to see upon entering.
I know business owners may have their own political beliefs, but when you advertise it and show disrespect to all of those who don’t have the same beliefs, I can’t spend my money there in good faith.
I went elsewhere and purchased hot dogs, a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink.
My purchase was not going to be much, but I refuse to spend a penny in an establishment like this. The election will be over in a couple of months, but I will never patronize this store again!

My wife and I stopped here on the way to a DMV appointment in Greenville – best move we made all day! The service was great, the food outstanding (especially the smoked sausage!) and the atmosphere brought back a lot of country memories from my youth.
We will definitely be going back!

I had ribs and they were great. But I ordered another plate to go and a cheese burger. When to get drinks. And saw that they were making the to go plate before cooking the cheese burger. I said you might want to cooked the cheese burger first. And they said it comes already cook. So I asked if I could see it. Because some places cooking it and leaves it in there juices and I didn’t want that. So I said no to the burger. And just get plate to. They got mad when asked why not. I don’t want a burger in a plastic bag off the hot bar. They got mad and asked me to leave. I when to Country Mark down the road and they had burgers precooked and had no problem with waiting on me. Got back and they’re where happy for country Mark’s burgers but would like to had the ribs because I Brad so much on the ribs.
