I heard a lot of good things about this place from people and decided I’d give it a try. The food is mid at best. Chicago dog isn’t a legit Chicago dog no celery salt, neon relish or sports peppers which was a major bummer. Chili cheese dog was good I guess, cheese wasnt melted and I could tell it wasn’t the best quality ingredients. Onion rings tasted kinda off, I think your oil might need changing. For the price it’s alright, would I come back? Maybe. Maybe I’ll come to try the burgers next time and I’ll update my review. Staff was very nice, food was mid, atmosphere was eh. 2 ⭐️

Went for lunch for the first time today. Ordered a double cheeseburger because the menu said they were smashburgers. Also ordered a plain red snapper. WOW. The burger was Huge. It was wrapped in diner style blue striped paper and then again in foil. It was too thick to bite into; I had to take it apart, which, no big deal. It was greasy and melty and the meat patties were amazing. No fatty parts at all. Was kinda sad when it was gone. The tomato slice was thick and juicy. The pickles were a sour balance. I could eat this every day. Shared the snapper with my pups and it was also hot and flavorful. Definitely missed red snapper dogs. Gave a 3 star to atmosphere. It was a slow day and the floors were dirty. The music was on low volume from a radio in the corner of the seating area.

I love my hot dogs! Usually have to wait until summer for them to be available. So happy to have discovered this place.
I’m originally from NY, their New Yorker hot dog is spot on. Basic sauerkraut (piled on) and mustard!
Looking forward to getting back.
Oh and the milkshakes. Please add malted flavor!!
Tasty fries as well. Will try the onion rings at some point.
4 stars for Atmosphere, because, well, just sit down and eat 😉

Such an amazing burger! Great ingredients, simple options, just the way I like it. The fries were super fresh and crispy on the outside. The hotdog was also great but I do wish they also had coleslaw as a topping option. A great stop after a day of hiking. We will be back if we are in the area again.

Cute downtown converted building. Clean and bright inside, inside dining available, clean bathroom.

Simple menu, coming for burgers and dogs.

I wouldn’t make a special drive, but if I was in the area might stop back in.

We tried two dogs, fries, burgers and onion rings.

I was a fan of the onion rings, light, crispy batter.

Fries, frozen, but nicely salted, hot and crisp.

Hot dogs, seemed to be steamed, not a bad flavor, personally a little too much relish for my preference.

Chili seemed kind of generic.

We did ask for one of the burgers dirty, house sauce and grilled onions, added a good flavor level. House sauce was kind of like a thousand isle vibe.

My daughter went simple with lettuce, cheese, tomato and ketchup and she was very happy with the overall outcome, so kid friendly, yes, for sure!

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. We had a generally positive experience overall, but we did see opportunity for them to improve. Here are a few positives: Great vibe with a simplified target menu that works. All the basics from a burger and dog joint. Loved that they didn’t hold back on flavor, seasoning and accoutrements. Prices were cheap, ordering was simple, service was fast. They have a great location with inside & outside seating and takeout. The cheeseburgers were tasty and the fries and onion rings were exceptional. I was caught off guard by the term “dirty” when asked if we wanted our cheeseburger that way. Maybe a little more guidance at the door when we said we were first timers would help. The two negative were the cleanliness inside and the size of the burger itself. Many surfaces could have used wiping down for sure. As for the burger size, they could easily add to the size and add a dollar and nobody would blink. It looked more like a McDonald sized single, not like a Five Guys single. I like the softness of the bun but a quick toast would help people keep the sandwich together. Our preference that bread supports what’s inside. Overall a good quick meal. As stated, if we had instruction at the register to get doubles we would have. That’s something that can be fixed and shake out. Again, same with a quick walkthrough with cleaning. With a small place messes stand out. Solid place for an economical meal. They’re onto something with balancing cost with offering good value. Next time we’ll try dogs and shakes.

Excellent little burger spot that is absolutely worth stopping by on your way up north. The space is very clean and friendly and its a order at the counter and sit yourself kind of spot (we were in and out in about 30 minutes). We got a burger, dog, fries and shake and they were all so well done and delicious. The food presentation was super tidy and the portions were just right – I thought of this place as like a local, better version of a five guys (kinda). Overall a wonderful little burger spot and one I’ll be visiting again each and every time I go Portland

Pretty boring food. Burgers are thin and very well done. Fries were nice and hot but they are clearly just frozen ones thrown in a fryer. We ordered 3 burgers 2 shakes 3 waters and 3 fries, it was $60. Kind of a lot for basic food. The women at the register was very friendly and polite. She greeted us warmly and was attentive when bringing out our food.

Went in today and the atmosphere was kind of odd, there was no music playing or any real ambience. The service felt weird as well, but it might have been a busy day so I tried not to be judgmental since I used to work in customer facing roles. At least the food was solid, and reminded me a little bit of In-n-Out. We tried their burgers (cheeseburger and regular), shakes, and fries. There aren’t a lot of local burger spots around so it is nice to have a good option. The prices were fair, too. Overall, it was just enough food for the both of us.

Ive been going here ever since they opened and love it! Bonus points for the fresh burger and chili cheese fries even 20 min before they close (which I dont usually do but I was really craving their chili cheese fries) and was not disappointed!!
