Super comfy place to have a great meal. I had their new sandwich de tostones with queso frito y salami (super yummy), their chicharrón and maduros (juicy crunchy and delicious), and their flan de queso was great too. The lady also let me try the juice before I buy it to see if I like it, I had their mango juice and it was really good! Definitely recommend!

We were in town and ordered our food online, and everything exceeded our expectations. The Mangu, Huevo Frito, Salami, and Queso Frito breakfast was absolutely incredible — the best I’ve had in years. The portion was generous enough for two people, and it hit the spot.
We also tried the Cuban sandwich, which was really good; I just wish it had a few more pickles. The bread, though, was perfectly toasty. My husband picked up the order and said the spot was like a bodega.
We added a beef empanada, but the filling was a bit on the salty side and could’ve used a little more seasoning. Still, that breakfast plate alone was worth the visit — I honestly wish we had ordered it again before leaving town.
If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely be ordering from here again! I wish I would’ve taken pictures before I dug in.

Stopped in on Saturday right after they opened to get a couple Chicharrón and ended up getting a cup of sancocho too. Great choice. The soupe was incredible! Highly recommend!

This is a great little spot with the fast service of a bodega and comfortable booths to linger with a full belly. Greeted with a mix of familiar aromas when you open the door, the walk down the lunch counter with all its inviting sights, excellent staff, and Cuban music in the background…I thought I was in Ybor City for a brief moment. It was a fantastic lunch.
I choose a chicken empanada and a Sándwich Cubano. The empanada was flaky and warm. The empanada gave an audible snap and a slight puff of steam when I tore it in half (I must have ordered just after the morning prep was complete)—a tasty treat or acompañante.
I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Cubanos. I am specifically a Tampa prepared in the Columbia Restaurant way with traditional Cuban bread made at La Segunda bakery. Though not all of those mentioned above, this Cubano did not disappoint. The mixto is layered with tasty ham, well-seasoned and slow-roasted pulled pork (also available as a combo plate from the lunch counter), Swiss cheese, mayo-mustard mixed, and sweet-pickle pressed into a beautiful plank. The roasted pork is the star of this sandwich.
While the sándwich Cubano wasn’t from Ybor it is one of the best available in Orlando, certainly top three for me. The atmosphere here can transport you into an island kind of day in a heartbeat. The only thing missing is a rum and coca-cola with a lime wedge.
I can’t wait to try their larger location, a little further down highway 50, but for a quick lunch or a long afternoon talk, this place is a great choice. Their prices are very reasonable and are on par with lunch counters in some of our local bodegas.

First time visiting and was just overall disappointed. The pernil had a good taste, but it was bit salty and the rice was dry. I got a combo for my me and my son (2 separate) and asked for the chicken and got the smallest thigh and leg. I asked if I could get another piece and I’d pay for it, but was told they couldn’t. My son left hungry. Unfortunately, the worst part for me was while eating they began to clean the floors behind the counter and used a really strong cleaning solution that had my nose burning and had me feeling nauseous while trying to eat. I’m all for being clean, but to do that while people are still eating and the store very much open (it was around 7PM and they close at 9PM), wasn’t right.

Made an order for my Daughter’s first birthday party. Order was for 11am and when I showed up the first time they told me they were “a little” behind on the beans. 45 minutes behind. Then when I come back they take another 45 minutes just “finding” the order and getting it together. I’m leaving the store now at 1pm. The food was to be there at 11:30. I understand “lunch” rush but there needs to be a certain level of professionalism you expect when you go to a place for event catering.

I had to put one star. I just paid $35 with fee on UBER EATS for this half eaten plate of food. Obviously no one touched it, but the portion looks like they ran out of food! Lechonera was always known to be generous with the portions. Over the last few years, it has become insulting the poor level of quality, and portion they are providing their customers! This is a rip off! Outrageous, and I WILL NEVER ORDER THESE LEFTOVER SCRAPS AGAIN! I’m insulted as a consumer, and this is Not how out latin culture feeds their customers! Shame on this place! By the way, I am recovering from COVID from twelve days, this was supposed to be my happy meal of recovery, I guess NOT!
