Lechona Truck is hands-down one of the best spots in Miami for authentic Colombian cuisine.
The highlight here is definitely the lechona, which is cooked low and slow for 18 hours. The result is incredibly tender pork layered with seasoned rice, peas, and that perfectly crispy skin. You can tell how much care goes into every step each component is prepared and seasoned separately before being roasted together, and it truly shows in the flavor.
I also tried the Tamachona (a tamal topped with juicy lechona), the $10 menu, which is a great value with items like chorizo, pork belly, empanadas, and blood sausage all full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Another favorite was the Plátano Paradise, which pairs sweet plantains with melted cheese and lechona. It’s a sweet and savory combo that totally blew me away.
The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to explain the dishes, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re dining in or ordering through UberEats or DoorDash, the service is fast and efficient.
They have three convenient locations in Wynwood, North East Miami, and Westchester, making it easy to get your fix no matter where you are in the city.

Disappointed for sure. We ordered 2 orders of their cheese sticks, an order of chicken tenders, and an order of bacon fries, to go. When we got back to the Air BnB, they forgot one of the orders of cheese sticks! Not worth the walk back to ask them to fix. The food we did receive was good though! Also, would be nice if their sauce options were better. They didn’t have ranch, and the sauce cups included in the orders were so tiny. Nice little food truck lot, though.

Food was really not great and the service at the cashier wasn’t either. The prices did not match what was charged upon check out which really surprised me.
Other than that the food was just okay, nothing compared to the surrounding Colombian places. I wouldn’t really recommend unless it’s the last thing closing .
