DELICIOUS. Their Shwarma Rolls ($6.75 with beef, pomegranate, & labneh-a strained yogurt). Good, I just needed a tip more flavor with these.
DELICIOUS. Their Fries ($6.50 with a garlic dip). The fries were fries, but dipped in that garlic dip…LIKE THAT!!
STAMP!! Their Traditional Platter ($14.95 hummus, grape leaf, kibbeh-a beef stuffed pastry, falafel, baba ganoush-roasted eggplants, & tabule-a parsley, tomato , & onion salad). The eggplant was DELICIOUS, the salad, & hummus were STAMPED, the falafel, & grape leaf were DECENT, & the kibbeh was LIKE THAT!!
STAMP!! Their Salmon Salad Bowl ($17 with crispy seasoned salmon, & a spring mix salad with feta cheese, lemon, & house dressing). Nicely flavored crisp salmon, with a hearty salad!!
STAMP!! Taverna Platter ($15.50 with beef, spiced rice, hummus, & a side salad). Well seasoned beef, mildly spicy rice, & tasty hummus!!
STAMP!! Their Lamb & Chicken in Rice Bowl ($14.50 with grilled lamb & chicken meat, rice, peppers, pitas, & sauces). Get this!! Traditionally spiced proteins, well grilled, especially good with their house pitas!!
STAMP!! The Drinks (Their housemade lemonade $3.50, & their Jalab drink-a drink made from dates, with dried raisins at the bottom, & almonds-$2.50). Fresh lemonade, & that Jalab drink was super sweet, thick, & oddly tasty with the raisins!!
STAMP!! Their Dessert ($3.50 for their baklava-a phyllo dough pastry with pistachios, & honey, & $2.50 for their Kanafa-a crispy buttery pastry). Both of these desserts were fresh, sweet, & well made!!

I’ve been here a few times, my favorite dish is the kibbeh balls in yogurt with rice and salad special. It is delicious. I am not a huge fan of the falafel and chicken dishes, but the beef/lamb ones are delicious.

Authentic Lebanese food, I got the “pick your platter” with rice, beef shawarma, hummus, tabbouleh, and kibbeh. It came with pitta bread and a delicious garlic sauce. Highly recommended!

What a terrific experience. Maroun the area manager was amazing. He treated us like family. He explained everything on the menu and gave us delicious suggestions. He checked on us all the time and made sure our visit was perfect We feel very blessed to have met Maroun. The labneh and hummus are my favorite but honestly all the food was outstanding. The chicken shawarma was so flavorful. I recommend getting a sampler to try a variety of things. Please do not hesitate to try this place. Run don’t walk…. this place is top notch in our book. Thank you

I had a delicious beef shawarma platter and I must that it was so delicious. The pita that came with it was one of the best pita bread that I have ever had. The taste was so unique but so very good. Everything about my meal was great from the savory rice to the tender meat. Plus it was very healthy.

This fast food place has pretty good falafel & shawarma sandwiches. The sauce bar by the register is outstanding. Try the yogurt one is delicious. The chicken shawarma is a bit plain, but the whole point is to pair it with your favorite sauce such as garlic, yogurt, tahini or the many more options they have. The tabouli salad was good and their warm pita didn’t disappoint. If it is a nice day make use of their outside sitting.

Absolutely NO! I should’ve listened to my gut when placing my order. Chicken was absolutely dry shreds of skin. No actual chicken meat pieces. It was simply disgusting. I asked the guy if they had lemonade and he said yes, ended up giving me pineapple juice instead. Never going back. Terrible customer service.

Its real tight in the restaurant, but they make the best of it. The restaurant was on the other side of the shopping center before. Happy its still around. I ordered their taverna platter with salmon it was pretty good. Hummus was outstanding better than usual.

I eat at Lebanese Taverna all the time off of Connecticut Ave NW and the food is amazing.
But this establishment located in congressional plaza, is not welcoming for African-Americans. I was giving burnt pieces from the chicken , just the skin. No actual chicken breasts. I was nasty.
I am disgusted at this establishment. Please take your money somewhere else . See pictures below.
