We are from south suburbs of Chicago and our family loves paczki’s for Fat Tuesday. The bakery we get them from usually sells 70.000 on Fat Tuesday. I called bakeries in Peoria and LaBakery said they could make them for her the next day (Fat Tuesday) as they only had 1 left. The girl that helped over the phone was so sweet and helpful. My daughter said they were absolutely delish just like home. I just want to say thank you and that they were as good as our home bakery.

I had a pretty good experience overall. The waitresses were professional and attentive, and they addressed my concerns well. I had a tiramisu and a Napoleon. I enjoyed both, but I think they would have been better with less sugar. The tiramisu was too sweet for my taste, which masked the coffee flavor. I preferred the Napoleon, though the sugar level could definitely be reduced as well. Otherwise, the packaging could really use some improvement. The box barely fit the slices, so they were crushed by the time I got home.

My first time going and the first thing I noticed when walked in was the blueberry pudding loaf next i noticed no one spoke or said anything even though she was helping someone (your always supposed to speak to those entering the business) I waited like a minute before a younger girl walked up and asked what could she help me with. I said a blueberry muffin and 2 oatmeal raisin cookies and also grabbed the blueberry pudding loaf and cashed out. Then I seen their bread and asked to touch it to see how soft it was after that I left. I went to my car and ate my blueberyy muffin I couldnt wait I had been eating these lemon blueberry cookies and couldnt get any so i needed something else that was blueberry. Anyway When I went to eat my oatmeal raisin cookies they were actually m&m, so when I went back in the store the first lady I seen previously I was trying to let her know that the lady that cashed me out gave me the wrong cookies and she said “Im working with someone, give me just a minute, give me just a minute. With the way she said it I felt like she was giving me a little attitude so I said, “I was just letting you know she gave me the wrong cookies, I wasnt rushing you or anything. Then she says it again, “Im working with someone, give me a minute, give me a minute. A male worker walked up to help me and gave me the right cookies then I left. Im not gonna say anything about the lady other than she gave me the “I dont want you here energy”. My experience was okay, hope yours is better!

Ordered some muffins for a muffins with mom’s event from LeBakery. I hadn’t been here since they updated the building so I thought I’d take a few pictures. I asked the worker behind the counter if I could take a couple pictures and she said yes so that made this Google review more enjoyable. Everything looked delicious and that keeps me coming back! My muffin order was all fresh and ready for pick up and not gonna lie, I enjoyed a blueberry muffin on the way home! Those big fresh Blueberries inside that moist delicious muffin were just wonderful, definitely will be returning!

The frosting no matter the flavor or if it’s on cakes or cookies is all so gritty and too sweet from too much sugar. I stopped buying their cakes because there was very little lemon, blueberry or whatever flavor it was supposed to be, it all mainly tasted like gritty sugary white frosting and white cake. If you’re going to say something is a specific flavor it should taste like it otherwise it’s just white with food coloring. I do still buy their cookies sometimes because they’re pretty. I do like how they are more affordable than other bakeries in the area.

I am not from around the area, and I found this bakery highly rated online. I called and they were very helpful bringing my vision to life for my friend’s engagement cake! I was able to send inspiration photos and customize the flavor, icing, and design/text. Pickup was fast and easy. The cake stayed fresh and had no issues melting while transporting to our destination for 30 minutes. I highly recommend this bakery for your next special event:)

We sat down with Jenny at LeBakery and described what we were after. She made so many helpful (and, might I add, ‘delicious’) suggestions for our event. LeBakery ended up supplying everything from charcuterie and hot dips to cookies, pastries, cheesecakes and fruit tarts for 100 people. It was literally a one-stop shop for us. Jenny even made us a tiramisu for our brunch the next day. Everything was beyond delicious – ‘other worldly’ would probably be a better description. The photos speak for themselves.
