What a perfect “home cooking” restaurant to have in an airport! The food is fantastic! Great temperatures and flavors! Plenty of food to accommodate the hungriest that walk thru the doorway! The floors are as clean as the table and flatware! The staff are friendly and helpful! The skeleton staff gets a bit overwhelmed by the abundance of people that inundate the restaurant in an instance! The prices are comprable to the amount of food! Plenty of room and space around you if you have luggage, or a backpack! A sit down bar is available, or plenty of tables or booth seating! You’ll be impressed by your selection of a meal! I encourage you to try the Cajun Omlette or pancakes!Enjoy as we did!

Greeted would be too pleasant of a word to use as I walked up to the hostess stand to be sat. But everyone has an off day so, let’s move on. The server was polite as she had the bar to cover and tables. I ordered the Louisiana Redfish. Noone foollowed up to see if I wanted anything else…like dessert or to ask how the food was maybe refill my drink; they just brought the ticket. The whole dish was over cooked to the point I needed a knife and fork to cut the fish but the flavor was on point. Would I recommend, maybe because it could have been an off day as the reviews rave about this restaurant.

I got the creole burger, it was good but it did just taste like a normal burger. The person I went with got a poboy and rice and beans. This was probably what I should’ve gotten- I just didn’t want to eat a hefty side of rice and beans before a flight. Staff friendly, solid airport food.

We decided to have dinner here as we were waiting for our flight and overall I had a good experience. We were seated immediately, however, it took a while before we were able to place an order for some food. We waited there for a while before someone came to the table. Thankfully, there was a nice gentleman working there who noticed that we didn’t receive help and he made sure that we were well taken care of and that everything was brought out in a timely manner. He also communicated well with us so I’m definitely appreciative for that! We ordered chicken that was over the jambalaya as well as the grilled fish over jambalaya. For dessert we decided to try out the peach cobbler. The dinner entrees were really good and very well seasoned! The portion sizes were also really good and I felt like we received a great amount for a reasonable price. The peach cobbler was okay. Overall, I’d still recommend coming here for dinner because the food was really good!

Airport location. Food was great. Service was a tad slow but friendly overall and my order was accurate. First time ordering grits from a restaurant and didn’t have to add anything. They were perfect. I’ll definitely return when I have the time between flights

The most watery gumbo I’ve ever had in my 71 years of life of growing up in New Orleans.
Flavor was decent but a little bit too spicy. No crackers. Bread for five dollars which I did not order – that was absurd. No potato salad, but at least they didn’t put tons of rice in there to make up for it.
