We had a wonderful lunch at Le Relais du Bois in Paris. We ordered the lamb chops, roasted chicken, and tomato salad — and every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and perfectly prepared, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed yet memorable meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly satisfying dining experience in Paris.

We went for lunch service and we were glad we did. We were taken care of by the most welcoming and professional service. The food we had ordered was also amazing and we enjoyed every single bite of our dishes. Would recommend for anyone in the area.

Four of us did lunch here on 10/30/25 and absolutely LOVED IT! We’ve done Michelin star restaurants in various countries, and this was about as good a lunch as we’ve had anywhere. The owners are lovely, customer-oriented folks who proudly offer delicious, beautifully prepared and presented foods in an attractive setting. Highly recommend!!!

This place was incredible. It is definitely difficult for the average tourist. We got a few looks and felt a little bit out of place, but we survived. The food was absolutely wonderful. The blood sausage was the best I’ve ever had. The crème brûlée was also amazing. It tasted like actual cream and not some yellow custard you find at other places. I wish I could come back to try more of the menu. Please try this establishment if you want great food and the local experience.

I was the first to arrive at the beginning of the evening service, a senior solo lady in search of a wonderful meal. I certainly found it! I was greeted immediately by friendly staff, and seated at the back, which I loved because then I could enjoy my Bordeaux as I watched the place completely fill up with happy locals. The filet de boeuf was PERFECTLY rare, the sauce delicious, the potatoes beautifully grilled, and — the pain perdu, grandmother’s recipe — absolutely divine!! If I am lucky enough to return to this part of Paris, I will absolutely return! 5 stars!

Definitely coming back here next time I’m in Paris!

Got in here simply because it was close to the Monet Museum and the place looked very local, which turned out to be a great surprise! I had a fish/crab soup and beef tartare; both had complex but pleasant taste. The portion is quite big and they both come with some bites e.g. potatoes so if you’re a solo traveler, you may talk with the waiter/waitress if your order would be too much. I wanted to have Crème Brûlée but too full! The lady here was very friendly and accommodating too!

Amazing food and wine in this cute little restaurant. Got introduced to it by colleagues living in Paris and seems to be a place mostly visited by locals.

Loved this little restaurant — really worth going to if you’re in the area. I had the veal liver which was amazing. The service is very very friendly (and they speak English). The menu is in French so you will need to translate.

The only downside was the tables are very tight but not a bit deal and I would go back in a heartbeat!
