Eat here today after recommendation of our host.
Her words: French Chef, good quality & good price.
We enjoyed the formula for 20 Euros which is absolutely worth it and accompanied by glass of wine and water.
It was very tasty and the waiter were attendive and nice too.
The steak with sauce, salad and overbaked potatoes is recommendable. Also the salmon which my wife had was good – same for the rice and vegetables.
Would recommend to come earlier than 2 pm (they are closing at 2.30pm) if for lunch. Because it could be the meal/desert of the day might be gone (for sure depends on the demand) which is totally understandable.
But you can’t go wrong with the “standard formula”
The desert (mouse au Chocolat) was also really good.
Will for sure come again.

AVOID!! Worst Steak and red wine of my life!! DISGUSTING!!! The lady server was nice but the man was very rude. Potatoes and salad and fries was nice, but they took a bowl full of fries before we had a chance to finish eating them. My partner was still eating. The view was nice. Also when asked about what type of wine they had we were advised red or white. I asked if it was Shiraz,… etc response was it a glass size. Creme Brulee was ok, not bad but nothing to write home about. Avoid and find somewhere better.

My parter had the deal of the day menu and he had, a glass of red wine, medium cooked beef with salad and potato gratin and chocolate mouse for €17.99, and I had fish and chips with salad. It was OK, I would have preferred a crispier fish. It came with Heinz ketchup and mayonnaise.

We came by as there was alot of people here and the reviews were good.
The food was extremely bland and tastless. Any seasoning was surface seasoning that they added in after. It was quite busy and we waited 20 mins just to order. We waited almost an hour for our entree as we watched tables who came after us get their meals first. The waiter did seem swamped but they were severely understaffed it seemed.
Their dessert was good though!.

Affordable lunch sets – main, dessert and wine.
Ordered the beef steak which was cooked very well. Portion was large.
Dessert was delicious too although we were too full by the end of the main!
Lovely place to dine. Poor staff were very busy as there’s not enough people. Do be patient and understanding with them! 🙂

This restaurant is in a great spot along the promenade. As I am a local to Nice, I don’t tend to eat at restaurants where a lot of tourists visit. However, this place has a great deal for lunch, just under 20€. I ordered the salmon with rice and vegetables, a glass of wine and the chocolate mousse dessert. The wrong meal was first brought out to me but quickly resolved before I could mention it. Mine wasn’t warm, it was pretty cold, but I didn’t say anything. The salmon was a bit overcooked but still edible. The rice and drizzled sauce were tasty but it could’ve used more vegetables. The mine and dessert were great. Even with as rich as the mousse was and should be, I was able to eat the whole thing because it was so delicious. If you’re looking for an affordable meal with multiple courses that also includes your drink, this is a great place. It really is a good deal. You can eat outside or inside and be right across from the sea.

Not the first time that we enjoy lunch on the terasse of this restaurant. Very pleasant place, what a lovely sea view and what a fantastic lunch offer !

Do not hesitate to add +2€ for the « Café Gourmand » option !

Food was spot on, the tiny waitress with blonde and purple hair was as helpful as she was beautiful.
I have no idea what the desert I had was in the shot glass, but it had yellow and red top, it was amazing.. Great little spot as well just in front of beach.

A really nice lunch menu at a very good price! My pork was good and the dessert (mousse au chocolat) was excellent. My friend’s cake was also delicious. Bonus is the sea view from the terrace

We showed up around 9:30 pm on the evening of the drone festival (June 6, 2025) in order to have dinner and enjoy the show on the terrace. We were 2 people at first to reserve a table for 4 people, but we had to wait several minutes for one of the waiters to be willing to receive us and we had to negotiate a table for 4 people on the restaurant terrace which was free instead of a table inside.
The waiter seated us at this table while we waited for our friends, but refused to take our order on the pretext that he couldn’t take it because there were only 2 of us at a table for 4, and that he had to wait absolutely for our friends to arrive before he could honor our order.
At around 9.50pm, the waiter decided not to take any more orders on the pretext that the kitchen was closing and literally kicked us out with a smirk on his face, even though our friends had just arrived!
It’s a disgrace and disrespectful to customers, this young waiter should learn good manners and above all be thrown out!
I call on the management of this establishment to make respect for your customers a priority!!
