Lol, the queso burger was cold, and all stuck to the plate and not sizzling. And check out the kids burger picture I posted. …They cut a normal burger in half . This place is a Joke. My burger was ice cold and the fries were soggy.
Server was super nice, and she felt bad it was such a bad experience. The manager or supervisor stated that they are supposed to make the kids burger “look bigger”. I don’t think I’d eat here for free. Finally the restaurant was almost empty, and the food took forever…so why was it all cold.

I’m not one to leave a review at all let alone a bad one but man I was absolutely blown away at the mediocrity tonight…. As someone who used to frequent this location for years and not too long ago had an amazing steak from here it’s absolutely astonishing the lack of care that went into our food tonight. Now I know chain restaurants are notorious for being mid just in principle but I can honestly say the steak I had tonight was the worst I’ve ever had. As a county boy who grew up poor I’ve ate some questionable meals (was taught to always eat your food and not waste it) so I did tonight and honestly hope like hell I don’t get sick. We got take out and not only did they not give me the mashed potatoes but the steak was pitiful in texture, size, and flavor. The fries were soggy and unseasoned completely. The boneless wings my wife and daughter ordered were gristly and gross, the tortilla chips were equally oily and soggy as they were stale. Whoever your cook was about 6-7 months ago has obviously moved on to bigger and better things. I have no intention of ever going there again and to the manager don’t waste your breathe trying to convince me otherwise because you let this go out of your establishment and you clearly don’t care. I just hope you read this and decide to do better for the sake of the people that rely on your kitchen for a good meal at the end of a hard week… another bit of advice, if you don’t let the steak get to room temp or close before it’s cooked it will be tough as nails even at medium rare… do better, Fuquay deserves better! k

Service is rarely good. We come for the food. I think out of 25 times coming to this location, the service was very good 2 times. Today, our wait person was very unfriendly. Very quick at each visit to our table. Sounded irritated when she spoke. We waited 13 minutes after being seated for her to Come get our drink order and give us utensils and napkins. There were only 5 other tables with customers, so it wasn’t busy at all.

Came in on a random Saturday for lunch, a relatively slow day maby 4 or 5 tables including us were seated.
I had a party of 5, 3 young boys my wife and I. Recived our drinks and appetizer came shortly after, our alcoholic drinks came out and glasses were absurdity sticky. Two of my boys got kids pizza. My wife, oldest and myself placed an order for stakes.
The pizzas came out after an appropriate amount of time but then the troubles ensued.
After about 35 mins I myself was brought the wrong order and it was sent back. About another 10 mins my wife and sons stake came and I was still waiting. Life happens and I understand things occur. So they begin to eat. About another 15mins of waiting I get up and just ask for mine to be made to go. I should also mention that we requested med rare just to explain our preference. When my now Togo order was upon me I was ready to pay the bill and depart. For whatever reason, part frustration I suppose. I opend my Togo and check it out. I sawed into the stake and it was med well. The manager “Jeff” came to explain himself. I just told them to keep it and I wasn’t interested in a meal at this point. So this item was Graciously removed from the bill! So after a $100 tab I’m still left empty handed.

I dont go to this restaurant often but tonight my wife and I did. She ordered fish and chips and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and waffle fries. The parking lot was full but inside felt empty. Lots of employees standing around chatting with each other. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, my wife’s food hot and my fries very cool. I asked for a refire emediately. The burger looked good but was cooked to an inch of its life, dry and no seasoning. The new order of waffle fries were hot but we’re covered in batter and no seasoning. My wife’s fish was frozen, tasteless and her fries warm but not seasoned in any way. The entire order, service and manager seemed not interested in being there. As there was an ankle monitor keeping the lifeless restaurant and food trapped inside. I won’t be going back. 50 DOLLARS I will never see again.

The chef made one the most delicious and tender 12oz Ribeye steaks I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Seasoned perfectly. Everything was hot and fresh. Our server Rheannon N was very attentive and gracious. We will be back for more!

Quality of the food is lacking. Mac and Cheese was dry, tough… They state in the menu that they use Kraft Mac and Cheese, very simple recipe, takes under 8 minutes to make fresh and cost a dollar to make, why serve this old and reheated… Sampler was served reheated as well, the spinach dip was lukewarm, cheese sticks were cool to warm, and the chicken was not hot either. The only item that seemed to be fresh was the bbq sauce.
This is a management issue and will not be corrected until management changes or is held accountable. These items should have never left the kitchen. Hopefully this reached the owner or person who wants to see the restaurant succeed as it did years ago to correct the issue. For a restaurant to be half empty on Mothers Day says a lot. And the reviews of lacking quality are spot on.

This was my first time coming to Apple Bee’s since 05’… I can officially say I will never return. Although the service and staff were fantastic, the food was horrible. The sirloin I got tasted like burnt griddle. Wife’s burger was so sad and boring.

To start off with the spinach artichoke dip, the chips were so stale they weren’t worth eating. I got the Fiesta Lime Chicken, the chicken was so dry, you could have choked on it and coughed out a feather.
It was that bad, and it wasn’t cutting like a chicken breast, I’m thinking it was a lab grown piece of chicken. That’s what it seemed like to me. My girl friend got the riblets but it was the strangest looking riblets I’ve ever seen. They were big cuts of meat, with BBQ sauce on them. She said there was alot of gristle and they were rather chewy. Better luck next time Applebee’s, not going back there again. The food does not look like their photos.

We spent $70 plus eating. Waited on the bill for 20 minutes, Then the waitress brings us out kid cups to go for our Pepsis. I asked for manager without being rude. Comes out and tells me unless you order to go that’s what you get pretty much. So if you get to go orders and spend $30 you get big girl cups. If you dine in and get appetizer and desserts and spend more money then you get kid drinks to go. Total nonsense. Pisses me off because I really love the fiesta lime chicken. But this is my last time!!!!
