This concept would BLOW UP at a lower price point geared towards kids… think of the birthday parties…. You could put them in malls and offer different menu choices. Such a sick idea but if you charge for fancy and advertise as fancy… the food needs to be fresher, more flavorful, and properly prepared fresh by a capable chef. Steak had no sear nor a pink center and severely lacked seasoning. I feel like this whole package comes in a box from Skull mapping and they include the food like Factor meals. It kills me that the food was like this because everything else about it was so great!!! I wonder if I’m right about the packaged food or if this location isn’t doing the recipes justice. Either way, one and done but glad we did it. Wish I took advantage of the valet just to get more value. It is a great memory we will have forever and the service was certainly part of that. They included gratuity on my bill, which I’m fine with, since I noticed it. The venue is cool. It’s next to a pool bar and I’m sure they do a lot of events but if this is the quality of food, I would not recommend having your wedding there.
The Positives: Food and Service
The service team was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent hospitality throughout the meal. Crucially, the food was absolutely delicious, exceeding expectations for a themed dining experience. Every course was expertly prepared and presented.
Technical Note: Visual Quality
While the storytelling animations themselves are charming and creative, the visual execution on our plates was disappointing. The 3D projections were noticeably pixelated and low-resolution, which prevents the immersive element from feeling state-of-the-art. It’s a technical detail that slightly cheapens the otherwise high-end feel of the event.
Value Perspective
The experience is undeniably premium-priced, and while the excellent service and quality dining justify much of the cost, the low-resolution projection quality makes it feel a little overpriced for the overall package. A simple upgrade to the visual hardware would truly perfect the experience and fully justify the investment.
In Summary:
If you prioritize fantastic service and gourmet food alongside a novel, memorable dining concept, this is highly recommended. Just be aware that the primary visual element may look slightly dated due to the pixelation. We had a great time and are glad we went.
As far as the service there is a lot of staff but ours especially did not understand anything. We tried ordering a club soda which came out as regular water then was poured over. We reordered and it came out better the second time. I had a vodka soda, the first was good, but the staff took it before i was finished and the second had almost no vodka in it. They didn’t know what a vodka dirty martini was and the manager had to come clarify. They have a full bar but claim the bottles are empty and just for show and only allow a very limited selection.
Again, this was entertaining concept and maybe the experience has slipped since the debut, but I do not think it’s remotely worth the price. Wait until it shows up on groupon or something.
