Went here over Memorial Day weekend with the family (large group) after being recommended by a local. Thought we would give it a shot.

The food was good; it isn’t five-star authentic French, but it does taste good. The prices made us anticipate something more, but it was good. Eating on the harbor is a great experience; inside the music felt “Spotify French,” but it encourages conversation. The service was relatively quick (the other reviews suggest this was not the case before, so I applaud them for taking feedback), and they kept the table neat as we finished, bringing out the dessert tray a little late but kindly. Each of the plates pictured was $18-25, except the duck which was $38 (in case you want to gage prices). It is true that the table bread is not complimentary (some reviews complained about this). Overall, it was a 5-star price for 4-star food, not completely French but that’s ok, it still tastes good.

Had and an absolutely great breakfast with family here. We had a wonderful time sitting outside. They don’t take reservations but Manny told me to come a bit early when I called a week ahead and he had everything ready. He was a stellar enthusiastic server that knows the menu and made it a great day. The food was yummy. Parking can be a pain on the weekend unless you get there early then we had no problem. Later joiners had to park on the street but sitting outside was wonderful. They have a full bar and the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their time so this was a hit. Manny made the day awesome. Looking forward to coming back soon. The baguettes and croissants are heavenly too.

First time here, found it while searching for near by coffee to the harbor. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It’s breakfast place but you can also just get pastry. They have separate door for the bakery. It was nice seating area where we sat. We had the egg Benedict which was really good, we got it with crab. Bakery items were really good. Coffee on the other hand which was the latte wasn’t good! It was too expensive but not good at all! To get bakery items you can to go to bakery you don’t really need to sit there. In fact If you don’t purchase breakfast items they prefer to just take it for togo. The breakfast was good I highly recommend it.

It was expensive, but the treat was worth it. The food was delicious, and the pastries were even better.

Best breakfast I’ve had in two decades. The quiche was so tasty. The homemade augratin potatoes incredible! And the cappuccino was perfection! The pastries are irresistible! Darling servers add to a sublime experience.

Easily my new favorite spot for breakfast in Ventura/Oxnard. I ordered the quick Frenchie and my wife ordered the french toast. Both were absolutely delicious. The crossaint was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs were fluffy and the melted cheese was gooey just how I like it. My wife ordered the French toast which looked like it was lightly breaded. I tried some of the French toast and I was really impressed. My wife ordered a cappuccino to top it off and I had a house coffee with my meal. We stopped by bakery on the other side on way our and got a cookie for my daughter and a Napoleon for us to split later. Definitely come by here you won’t regret it.

I came here with my husband for a light breakfast before touring one of the ships in the harbor. We ordered hot chocolate & eggs. The eggs were great, the hot coco tasted funky. We say outside & the view of the harbor was awesome! The service was friendly & the food wasn’t too expensive. Pretty cool restaurant. The waitress said it’s been there “for over 20 years”

I love this cafe, but was very disappointed when I had boasted about it to my friend. Her soup came out cold, as did the torte I ordered. Our champagne came out at the end of the meal although I reminded our waitress, who said she was tired! What a shame. We took home an apple strudel and it was delicious. Sorry poor service responsible for 3 rather than 5 stars.
