Found this place via google and I’m glad I selected this for breakfast.
Friendly staff. The owner comes around to ask about you multiple times and that really makes you feel at home
Although they were a bit late with our order but it turned out great. I would highly recommend this for your classic American breakfast. It’s a nice cosy diner with lots on the menu.
Portion sizes are average two people can easily share a breakfast but it’s up to you.
It’s a little on the expensive side but I guess that is justified looking at the quality of the food.
Coffee was perfect. The best sip of coffee I had in a long long time!

They had a wonderful breakfast menu! I ordered eggs, home fried potatoes with peppers and onions, and bacon. The eggs overmedium cooked perfect. The potatoes were cooked with chopped peppers and onions were delicious. Rye toast perfectly buttered. The bacon was crispy. 13 bucks for a very filling breakfast.

My wife and I chose Dempsey’s as our “D” restaurant for our ABC adventure. This place was probably my favorite so far. The music was literally my Spotify Playlist. Carly the hostess and waitress was a doll. Our food came out hot and we didn’t have to wait a long time either. We shared the chili cheese fries and they were bangin’. I had the Dempsey’s patty melt and chili topped baked potato. And guess what?! They were both bangin’! I mistook the sour cream as mayonnaise and put half of it on my burger and it was still bangin’. My wife had the cod sandwich and onion rings and she said they were both bangin. It was so chill inside and very comfortable. Chairs were nice and sturdy for my big back self.

Great Diner-like establishment with delicious food and excellent service. This was our first visit. The food was made from fresh ingredients, including delicious desserts. French fries were made fresh from real potatoes. We will definitely return! Definitely worth it!

I just ordered take out for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. All of the food was delicious. The customer service was also excellent. A bag with a few sides was left out of the order and when I called the restaurant, the staff was incredibly apologetic and handled it extremely well. Again, the food and service were both outstanding and I will definitely be ordering from here more often

Everything about Dempsey’s exceeds expectations. The menu and ingredients are incredibly thoughtful. Everything down to the seasoning is made in house. The desserts are to die for – special shout out to the cheesecakes. I tried strawberry, original and blueberry – all were fantastic but the blueberry has a special place in my heart. This is an outstanding family owned and ran business that supports diversity and inclusion. They have choices for everyone – comfort food, gluten free options, diabetic options, you name it. I will certainly be back and recommend to all. Good people, good food.

delightful, quaint, hometown feel where customers feel welcome, folks talk to you, and there is a relaxed atmosphere. Another nice advantage of this place is that seating seating and dining area are well maintained, modern and very clean. This is a must stop if you’re in the middletown area.

This is a cute little place with great customer service and even better food. Never had a Ruben and it has set the bar very high for any one I have after. I am a bit of a cinnamon roll snob and I will say that the owners take was made with a unique batter that keeps the rolls moist. The typical frosting was made with a caramel sauce that did not harden, leaving a nice ooey gooey (that’s the name ) sweet layer on top that melts into the roll. I look forward to making the trip again!
