Le Cafe Pancake was established to serve the finest pancakes with excellent customer service. We serve not only traditional pancakes but also ethnic and unique pancake recipes. Additionally, we offer many other food items, including Belgian waffles & fresh toast, challah bread, crepes, stuffed french toast, and French Belgian waffles with fruit toppings. We often feature the fresh seasonal fruits as toppings of our pancake and waffle dishes. Came with my friend and we shared the strawberry banana chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs. I was pretty impressed as everything was baked into the pancakes and they were perfectly fluffy. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us.

The food is good and the service is also really well considering they weren’t that busy. The setting is really nice and neat, also the design is like a very modern/classy farmhouse. Very nice. The only complaints is the ice coffee have way to much cream you can even tell from the picture I included the color is very very light. The French fries could also use seasoning or something as they were very bland/plain. Lastly what we didn’t expect is their menus. It was very very DISAPPOINTING they were literally like printer paper or something. That’s not really a RIDGEWOOD thing to do lol. I’ve been to ran down restaurants in the worst neighborhoods and they had better menus than this place. Definitely a thing to consider updating. Other than that the food was good. !

Pancake Cafe is going to just be a one-time visit for us. When we walked in, service seemed to be friendly. We got our food and were ready to eat our lunch. Having breakfast for lunch should always be happy, right?
I overestimated how hungry I was, and when the large pancakes came out, it was a lot to take in. For the table, we were given the house cornbread. For the meals, you come with an appetite.
This review is not towards the cooks in the kitchen. The service at the front just got lazy, and it took a long time to get their attention for our check because they were too busy talking to each other and watching tv. It’s a subday afternoon, we were the only table being waited on until another couple came, and they were looking over their orders.
Prices were reasonable, all payments are accepted, and parking is available around Ridgewood. Next time, provide better service because this was the one spot breakfast for lunch was not worth it.

Went to check the place and ended up having breakfast. Came with a complimentary bread and butter on side. Let me say that bread was as fluffy as it could be. Not so sweet and perfect consistency. Breakfast was on point. Staff was very friendly and helped with our needs. However, I managed to get couple photos for our meal. Definitely recommend for breakfast. Great place in Ridgewood.

We seated very quickly. We were basically after the lunch rush so it was pretty quiet. Our waiter was very kind. We were severed a basket of corn bread which was great that was kept like the original pancake cake house. I got the Texas burger medium well. It was yummy, flavourful, and juicy. It came with a lot of fries too! My mom ordered the breakfast platter which came with 2 two sausages two bacons two eggs scrambled one pancake and home fries. I took a bite of the homefires and they were just delicious. My mom really enjoyed her dish. We both packed up half our meals, the servings are big. I thought originally it was a tad expensive but being the plates are a nice size it was well worth it. Looking forward to bringing back more people!

Stopped in for lunch. I was seated right away — the service was excellent. I ordered coffee and a bacon cheeseburger. They brought my coffee (in a little glass pot!) along with some corn bread (like the old place). So good! My bacon cheeseburger was HUGE and there were a ton of fries—and they were the kind of fries I love. I finished the burger but could barely touch the fries. (very unlike me!). Really enjoyed this place, mostly known for it’s pancakes …. but the burger was great too! The name is a little confusing, as I have seen, “Le Pancake Cafe” and “Pancake Cafe”.

Huge portions of not the most delicious food. Feel free to take one serving for 2-4 people. Terrible tap water. The high prices do not match the service because the service is extremely slow. The impression was such that we prevent the waiters from doing of their more important business. The cafe is stuffy and noisy.
