We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

Fantastic hospitality and good food! What a perfect snowy day to enjoy Le Pan. I’m very impressed with the young gentleman waiter and the manager who offered nothing but grace to a very rude customer that kept complaining about ridiculous things. Their hospitality has ensured I will come back to this place. Love the warmth and respect they exuded even when someone else did not deserve it. Great croque madame and chamomile tea.

I’ve been to this chain countless times across NYC and DC and was so glad to be getting one in Westport. Sadly each time I go it’s a disappointment. The servers are nice and friendly, if not well trained and the food takes forever, especially given that the menu is mainly one of assembly, not cooking from scratch. It’s like this even when almost empty. The servers don’t use trays enough so my latte, served in a traditional bowl with no handle, is delivered having had the server’s hands all over the bowl, which is unsanitary. Every time I go I regret it and say to myself, “Next time go to Maman.” It’s 100x better.

One and done!! Some of the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life. Whoever the male is working behind the register, young 20’s, dirty blonde hair seriously needs to find a new job!! Showing up to a job of hospitality with that type of attitude and behavior towards customers is unacceptable! I’d consider hiring some people who actually want to be there or you will be closing your doors in no time. There are plenty of other places nearby to grab an overpriced tea and pastry, but at least their staff isn’t miserable. Good luck.
