The food and service here was awesome. The garlic chicken is delicious and crispy. The fried noodles was enough for 2 people or 1 really hungry person. The young man at the counter was very helpful and answered all our questions with a smile. Would highly recommend eating here.

Stoped in here while passing through Las Vegas. Food was good. We ordered the pork and cabbage along with the 9th island poke bowl. Pork was really good, Mac salad had way too much mayo, and the poke bowl looked bland but tasted pretty good. Overall not a bad place to eat. Would I go out of my way for it, probably not. But if I was shopping at Costco and got hungry I would definitely swing on in.

I love 9th Island Grill, and this is the only location I’ve been to for it. Depending when you come, the shopping area can be a nightmare, but it’s always worth it to me. All of my interactions with the ladies who work there have always been very pleasant and they get me out pretty quickly for how fresh everything is. This last time Jennifer was the one to help me out.

I always order the 9th Island poke bowl with tuna and an extra side of sauce and it never disappoints. The tuna always tastes amazing and every single time I forget how big the bowl is. I like to get the extra sauce because there’s a good amount of rice in there, and it can be pretty dry since the sauce is all up top. The flavor combos are wonderful and I could eat this every week.

Prices are reasonable, service is always very friendly, and it’s usually a pretty quick in and out. Love it!

Very delicious local style food! Very authentic to real local food in Hawaii. We got the BBQ chicken plate which was huge and juicy! We also had the island poke bowl, the fish taste fresh and sauces they use were perfectly balanced with the right amount of spice. We also try their onolicious poke nachos which was great portion size and chips were nice crispy! The sauces they use for their poke are yummy and very unique! We even tried their chocolate almond shake which had the perfect taste and thickness! We highly recommend if you craving island grinds, that won’t break the bank! Great customer service too! Felt like we were back in Hawaii!

The food here is incredible and truly authentic to local Hawaii flavors. The portions are huge! We ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, the Hawaiian Poke Bowl, and the Poke Nachos—every single dish was delicious. We also tried the chocolate almond milkshake, which was a real treat. The service was excellent and served with genuine Aloha spirit. If you’re in the ‘Ninth Island’ and craving ‘local kine grinds,’ this is definitely the spot. Plus, they have several convenient locations across Las Vegas!

Nov 2025 update: Tried ths garlic chicken and it was good (and garlicky). The Acai bowl was also tasty.

I’m personally not a fan of not having chicken breast as an option. I understand why, but many (like myself) prefer breastfeeding meat. 🙁

First time trying and will be back for salmon and to try something else.

Friendly customer service, minimal wait time and food hot & tasty.

Tried the 2 plate with salmon (bbq) and beef. The entree came with 2 scoops rice and mac salad. Salmon was preferred over the beef (wouldnt do beef next time). And, the mac salad was very bland.

Would like to try some other things. The acai bowls I saw being served looked good!

Prices seemed fair in this economy, with the mixed plate almost $20 out the door.

My friend and I first time here and the food was not tasty.. it was well served we got the spicy garlic and the fried saimin with BBQ chicken but the flavors were to sweet/ salty like it had to much teriyaki sauce then the noodles were pretty hard. The spicy garlic chicken had big chunks which made it hard to eat and was a little dry. All and all we won’t be coming back and would not recommend.

Our food today sucked! We come here a couple times and the food was good. We got our poke bowls today and they had cold old hard rice. There was hardly any sauce, flavorless and tasted old. It’s new people here working I guess. For $15 a bowl and 4oz fish it should at least be fresh and tasted ok. So disappointing, we know it’s the mainland but wow this was so bad.
