Modern American cuisine with an Asian twist. Bringing together locally sourced products from the beautiful farmers in Maine, with flavors that are familiar to a Lao-American upbringing in a Southern home through the use of traditional Laotian and classical french cooking techniques. Chef Sav grew up in Virginia but moved to Maine with his business partner, and wife, Elise (Mrs. LeMu) so that she could be closer to her family in South Western, Maine. The menu at Le Mu Eats, is a combination of Chef Sav’s experiences as a classically trained chef, Coastal Virginia native, and Asian American.

This was the perfect place to go after a full day of skiing/snowboarding!
The Curry Carrots, Hot Noodz, and Porke Bowl were my personal favorites.
Their Miso Goldrush drink is a great, unique cocktail that I would definitely recommend trying!

We tried the spicy noodles, pork bowl, spiked margarita, and dirty Thai, then finished with pistachio ice cream topped with cinnamon and bread for dessert. Everything was super flavorful and unique! Portion sizes were decent, food came out fast, and the servers were really attentive. Definitely a great spot to eat if you’re in town or just passing through.

Driving through town from Acadia, saw the article “best gems” in Maine. Wow, truly delicious. We got the special beet humus dip, followed by one of the best pork Bahn Mi’s I’ve ever had! Generous portions, chill atmosphere, able to have my dog out on the patio.

This Thai-Vietnamese Asian Fusion restaurant is a hidden Gem! The food top-notch and is better than what you’d find in major metropolitan areas, like NYC or SF. We took a photo of the front page of the menu — it tells the story of the two young people who are the proprietors. Take a moment & read it. It describes the quintessential American Dream. What a treasure this place is. We drove from Portland to see the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum. We noticed the sweet place next door and after doing the first floor of museum, we walked next door for lunch. We were warmly greeted and seated. The menu is was so appealing we had a challenge trying to make up our minds. We ended up with the roasted carrot appetizer and tofu Bahn Mi and fries. Everything was delicious. My brother said it was the best Bahn mi he’d ever had. I agree. The carrot appetizer was delicious. I saw someone in the reviews complaining about the French fries. I beg to differ, they are hand cut and cooked to perfection. Our server was efficient and friendly. The room is welcoming and cozy. My only complaint is that you aren’t closer to us. But , it’s totally worth the trip.

Surprised to find a place like this in Bethel. Incredible, I say again, incredible tasting food. I got the Pho that came with a dinosaur leg sized short rib. Tender, delicious, and broth was infused with incredible layers of flavor. Wife got wings, which were well cooked, great Asian flavor. Beer list is excellent, cocktails are a special fusion treat. Worth a drive
