We made a quick stop in Geneva for about 48 hours, and this spot was high on our Switzerland bucket list. You just can’t go to Switzerland without trying fondue — and who doesn’t love cheese?
The two ladies working made us feel completely at home, and their warm hospitality made the experience even more special. The fondue was hands down the best we’ve ever had, and the charcuterie board was the perfect complement — it paired so well with the rich, melty cheese and fresh bread.
Hats off to you, Le Gobelet D’Argent — you totally rocked our taste buds and made our Geneva stop one to remember. Much love from Canada!

Tourist or local, if you are looking for delicious Swiss foods, this is the place! The fondue was incredible and the prices reasonable. Both the owners and the wait staff spent time with us and was very helpful. We will definitely be back.

Was looking for fondue on a rainy day and decided to try Le Gobelet d’Argent. I suggest to book a table in advance, as the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived. We got a table right next to the window and it was a bit cold every time the door opened and closed and cold air coming from the window. The fondue was great, we had 200g cheese option but also 300g wouldn’t be an issue to finish. Meringue for desert was ok, but tasted slightly different than usual. Overall good service and good food.

Great place. I had the classic fondue, it was delicious – strong taste of cheese and wine, loved it. My boyfriend had a cheeseburger, which he also liked very much. The food is very well served – we actually had to take away some of it. We also had cheesecake for dessert, it was great, better than some other places we’ve gone to. The waitress is very nice and helpful, I would definitely come back.

We sat on the street side and we and our dog were treated really well by the staff.
They were friendly, recommended the specials, that were amazing, so fresh and delicious.
Their puddings are to die for, especially the cheese cake.

Came here a few weeks back with a merry band of my army lads for an afternoon fondue and it was simply impeccable! For a large table of approximately 15/16 or so , the service didn’t miss a beat and everyone ok staff were very attentive and kind to all the diners needs amd wants. Fondue served was a classic and well prepared. Standard portions that are well worth the price. Definitely looking forward to returning for other menu options!
