Reviews
If you’re looking for an authentic French escape without leaving Pinner, look no further than The French Corner ! Seriously, oh my god, you genuinely don’t need to book a flight to France anymore; the spirit, the flavour, and the ambiance are all right here. We absolutely loved our visit and are already planning our return. ❤️
Ambiance & Vibe
From the moment you step in, you are transported. The restaurant boasts a truly jazzy French ambiance that is sophisticated yet wonderfully cozy. It’s the perfect setting, whether you’re having an intimate dinner or a cheerful gathering with friends.
️ The Cuisine: Truly Authentic
The food is the star of the show. Every single dish we tried was a triumph of classic French cooking, served with passion.
The Wine: The white wine selection was superb, pairing beautifully with our meal.
Starters: The onion soup was deep, rich, and utterly comforting—a perfect classic.
Mains: I highly recommend the French burger (a brilliant twist !) and the Tartiflette, a glorious, creamy mountain dish made with potatoes, bacon, onions, and that wonderful melted Reblochon cheese. It was absolute perfection.
Desserts & Coffee: For the grand finale, we indulged! La crème brûlée had that perfect crack and silky custard texture, and les macarons were delicate little bursts of flavour. Finishing with le café rounded off the meal perfectly.
Final Verdict
The French Corner serves some of the most authentic French cuisine we’ve had outside of France. The attention to detail, the welcoming service, and the genuinely lovely atmosphere make this a must-visit spot in Pinner.
We love it ! See you again soon !
The team there have an excellent and simplistic menu, and a selection of Red and White wines that are reasonably priced. We enjoyed the ambience. It’s a cosy place ideal for a family meal, a date, or a date night. We look forward to going back very soon.
Quality ingredients, excellent dishes with a great selection of drinks
The croissants were soft and flaky tasted amazing! Ordered the bombay sandwhich which had a delicious spicy chutney inside with potatoes on a sour dough bread – highly recommend.
Lastly the savoury crepes were cooked to perfection.
Owner was super friendly! Would definitely come back!
