Dal 1939 il ristorante è in via Nazionale, e prende il nome dalla fontana di Giovanni della Robbia che si trova accanto, a più bocche, chiamate dai fiorentini “Fonticine”. Nel 2023 inizia la nuova gestione improntata sulla continuità, a partire dal rinnovo dei locali fatto in maniera sapiente, senza stravolgere ma a rendere ancora più caldo ed accogliente il locale: sale accoglienti e arredate con gusto ed eleganza. I piatti sono assolutamente quelli della tradizione fiorentina, a partire dai crostini dell’antipasto, i salumi , per poi scegliere una pasta, che può essere la tagliatella, ma anche i tortelli, o anche una zuppa classica come la ribollita.

The experience at Le Fonticine was amazing. All the employees were very friendly and made great suggestions for the dishes. The antipasto with cheese, ham, and jelly was excellent – all local and homemade products. The pappardelle was homemade and delicious, a very light dish. To finish, the chocolate dessert, which melts in your mouth, is definitely worth a try.

We happened to stumble upon this place! We were in Rome and Florence for a week and this was by far the best food and service we experienced! You can not get any better! The Florentine steak is literally a work of art !! They bring you a variety of bread baked fresh there! With a dipping paste. We also had the pumpkin risotto, ravioli, sliced streak, caprisi, and cheese cake. Every single thing was delicious! The host and waitress were so fun and very sweet! Very clean and the ambiance was genuinely authentic. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Loved!

I found this place completely by chance. From the entrance it looks like a small spot, but inside there’s actually a very spacious area.
Excellent food and friendly staff. The atmosphere is amazing, and I can’t wait to go back again. The dishes are absolutely delicious. The variety of breads is fantastic, and they bake them themselves. The wine I tried was outstanding, and there are more types of wine than you could possibly taste. Server, Ms. Camilla, was incredibly kind and helpful. Among the restaurants to visit in Florence, this place easily ranks in the top five—and for me, it’s definitely number one. Instead of spending ridiculous amounts of money at overpriced spots just because influencers recommend them, you can truly enjoy the authentic flavors of Tuscany here with peace of mind.

We walked into this restaurant and it was one of the best meals I ever had. Dishes catering the seasons. And make sure you leave room for the house made cheesecake! Best cheesecake in the world!
