We went for live jazz brunch and it was amazing! Be sure to make a reservation to go, it’s every Saturday in February from 12-3pm. Great brunch food and the ambiance was very cozy. I’ve also been to their happy hour which is great! All staff are super friendly.

It’s a nice restaurant. We were seated promptly thanks to making a reservation and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The food was okay but a little disappointing overall after seeing such great reviews. I got the buffalo mozzarella and side of broccolini as an appetizer.
The broccolini had a nice smoky flavor but was extremely tough. Only the florets were cooked enough to eat, which left a plateful of stems.
The buffalo mozzarella appetizer was good and very filling.

Absolutely loved the Salmon Bento Box! The salmon was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was fresh and well-balanced, making the meal feel both refined and satisfying. To top it off, the crème brûlée was silky smooth with a perfectly caramelized crust. A wonderful fusion of French elegance and Japanese precision. Highly recommend!

Came here for Happy Hour and we are glad we did. Not the cheapest but a good value nonetheless. The sushi was tasty and we really liked the salmon sliders. HH wine was nice and the bartender was very attentive. Will make sure to be back!

This restaurant was an amazing blend of French & Japanese cuisine with excellent service, drinks, & amenities. The staff is in tune with the menu items, culture, & standard upper management has set. Isabel was great! They also have a coat rack; FYI. ENJOY!

FANTASTIC sushi! It was SO good that we forgot how much we enjoyed French cuisine and we ordered ALL sushi and sashimi. Abs high quality and delicious. Would love to go back tomorrow. LOVELY ambience and great service. We also had very good desserts: crème brûlée & spectacular gluten free flourless choc cake

We waited almost 10 minutes to have someone came asking what we wanted, they were packed because the restaurant week i guess. But soon after someone took our order. Everything went well. The decorations and vibe were very French, specially the outdoor sits. Menu was not super crowded, half classic French item and half sushi. I think food wasn’t expensive or impressive but all very decent and i felt their chef or cook has very good taste about the spices and made the dishes taste well-balanced. Definitely will back for their happy hours! It’s super loud and noisy, kinda good for dating.

Came here to use my credit card’s Resy credit. It was not difficult to get to the $100, each app/roll was $15-18, and entrees were closer to $25-30. We ordered an app, 3 rolls, and one entree.

Beef tartare – 4.5/5 – horseradish sauce with a quail egg on top of one big super thin crispy chip

Kobe beef roll – 4.5/5

Fish & chips roll – 5/5 very unique

Salmon aburi roll – 2/5 eh, did not stand out when compared to the other two

Steak frites – 4/5 – steak was cooked perfectly, though could use with more seasoning/jus. Fries were good, could have used more salt or an aioli

We had originally ordered 4 rolls but switched one out for the steak frites and we’re glad we did. While the rolls were good, they all had very strong flavors that weren’t very distinct when eaten together. Wish we went with 1 or 2 and got another app.

Parking lot next door is 1 hr for $17 or up to 24 hr for $25. Metered parking is limited

While staying at The Mayflower on Connecticut Ave, we came here for lunch soon after checking in. They were open for lunch still, even around 2PM and we sat at the bar, where service was decent. The menu is typical French bistro style, but I didn’t see a croque monsieur. We got a Caesar salad to share and I got their French Onion soup too. We also started with deviled eggs.

The Deviled eggs were great! Creamy and full of flavor, yet perfect texture. The salad was good, but lacked a depth of flavor. I don’t like the raw sardines on top, only mashed up in the dressing, but this dressing seemed to be lacking viscosity as well… definitely needed lots of pepper added to it. The French Onion soup was great! Lots of great flavor and the broth was excellent.

Save room for dessert… we got their bread pudding which was excellent! The venue is beautifully decorated, just like a French bistro you’d venture into on a side street in France!

Would definitely return and highly recommend stopping in!

The store was clean,
the staff was moderately kind, and above all,
the food was very delicious.

The restaurant wasn’t busy because it was a reservation at 2:30 on weekdays,
and it was nice to be able to eat leisurely.

I recommend you to order baguette bread. It’s quite big even if you order a half-size,
and it’s hot when you make it yourself at the restaurant,
so it’s quite delicious.
