Wow! Delicious dishes that verge on fine dining while still feeling approachable. We started our meal with a half dozen local oysters and the grilled lamb shoulder as we snuck in at the tail end of happy hour. The lamb was grilled to the edge of charring on the exterior, giving a great smoky taste. For our mains we had the seared sablefish and the lamb loin. The fat on the lamb was seared to a perfect crisp, complemented by the juiciness of the meat. The sablefish was flaky and flavorful, a real delicacy. For desert we had profiteroles, which are hard to find in Seattle, even at French restaurants! If you haven’t tried them, they’re a must. I highly recommend Le Coin if you love food, have a special day to celebrate, or can simply afford it. It’s worth it.

Stumbled onto Le Coin one morning for brunch when I was out playing tourist in my own city. It’s right next door to one of my favorite sandwich shops and I decided to give it a go after being curious about it for some time. Can say with absolute certainty that it did not disappoint. Cozy and classy all at the same time with good service and a French inspired menu that is honestly so loaded with winners that it was a struggle to decide what I ultimately wanted. Sampled a good breadth of the menu, including a croissant, oysters, and a cassoulete and was overjoyed with all of them. Definitely a “highly recommend” to anyone in and around the Fremont neighborhood and I will definitely be back for more soon.

This was an interesting experience as it was a mothers day brunch for us and we decided we wanted something a little different, Le coin was recommended as a great mothers day brunch spot and so why not!

We were received warmly and guys please please please, be nice to your wait staff, they are trying their very best, especially on these occasions. Our hostess was a little shocked by whatever transpired before we came and still had the biggest small and welcome for us, well done Le Coin staff.

The restaurant itself is quaint on the inside with lots of tables and booths and outdoor tables as well. The food was a little hit and miss and by that I mean, there wasn’t anything there that I had that I would like to have again, it might very well have been our choices so I wouldn’t rule it out entirely, but let’s get to the food and take it from there

Apple Fritters 5/5 these bad boys came out hot and steamy exactly the temp you want your fritters, burn your mouth off yum! I would say they were around 5/6 pieces and my husband swears the apple butter was something out of this world

Chicken and Waffles 3/5 I love me a good chicken and waffles and this promised to be something good, my only issue is when something to the plate is added that is not on the menu. So when my dish came out with a swirl of fruity/berry sauce and I am very averse to sending a dish back, I ended up trying to eat around it which was difficult. Aside from that the chicken was cooked well but lacked anything that made it drool worthy, the waffle itself might have been better served if it was the Belgian Waffle instead of the cornmeal. It was simply a lackluster dish

Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich 4/5 Kid absolutely loved the sandwich, spice level, cook, size absolutely yum, the only thing needed was a crunchier coating for the chicken

Le Coin Burger 5/5 my daughter ranked this as in her top 3 best burgers and she does like a good burger, cooked exactly as ordered and tasted great

Cassoulet +Lamb 3/5 The flavors in this dish were on point! Two issues those, more care needs to be considered when adding lamb pieces as a larger piece was not edible, and there really needed to be some bread to soak up all those yummy juices. All in all it wasn’t something we’d order again

A cute little establishment with great potential, not anything id be in a rush to visit again

First time here, we had brunch. The service and atmosphere were excellent (although the music was pretty loud, so keep that in mind). We started with the World Famous Apple Fritters, which were light and tasty. I had the Eggs Benedict with crab, and it was probably 3 stars–the muffin was soft and not toasted at all, there was too much crab (which I THINK was imitation) and overall the dish was not very hot. The potatoes that came with the dish were excellent, although they too were barely warm. My wife had the steak and eggs, which she really enjoyed.

We were in the mood for dinner with a prix fixe menu, and Le Coin turned out to be the perfect choice. From the start, our server made the experience even better—she walked us through each dish while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable. The food was outstanding – the trofie pasta dish and lemon tart were my favorites. I also opted for the non-alcoholic pairing, and every drink complemented its course beautifully. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Le Coin. Funny how a place can sit on the street like a quiet cat and you don’t see it until it yawns. I’ve walked past it a hundred times and only stumbled in yesterday. Spacy room, warm light, the kind of cozy that doesn’t flex. Staff that actually notices you—water topped, plates down, no fakery, no fuss.

We worked through a poached squash salad that came in soft and honest. Confit fennel, sweet with a sly grin. Lamb shoulder, slow and patient, like it knew there was nothing to prove, impressive, my compliments to the chef. But the French onion soup—that’s the bruiser! Dark, rich, steaming like a hymn in winter. It could put iron in your legs, could make Napoleon’s boys shoulder their packs and tramp straight through the Arc de Triomphe for another bowl.

Everything was top‑notch. A lovely little joint. I like it. I recommend it. I’ll be back, dragging friends or any poor guest within reach. Thanks, Le Coin.

This is a very nice, French style restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service.

The ambiance is very homey and comforting. The staff professional and friendly, and the food is excellent.

They have a solid selection of cocktails, wines and cheeses.

The food is quite excellent, and I would not hesitate to come back here for a routine dinner, or even a special occasion.

Definitely a solid choice!
