First the good… The atmosphere is comfortable, building is super cute and the live band was enjoyable. The food was very good and our cocktails were well balanced. Now for the bad… our service was awful! From the long wait for menus and drinks to arrive to being forgotten by our server several times, this was not a great experience. We asked to share the Wedge Salad (yummy) as a starter but as soon as we took our first bite the entrees were brought to our table. Server blamed the new chef for poor timing So they took our entrees back to sit under the warmer until we were done. We gobbled down the salad quickly so our Prime Porterhouse and Seafood Linguine (both excellent) wouldn’t continue to cook under the lamps. I ordered another Greyhound (which never came) and we sat for 15 minutes waiting for our server to come back. Finally we ask another server (Greg was really great) for boxes for our leftovers and the check. He promptly professionally packed up our food and said he’d get our server to bring the check. Another 10 minutes and we still hadn’t seen her. Greg noticed we were still waiting and brought us our bill. My husband is an avid over tipper (25-30%) and he gave our server only $10.

We had reservations for 7:30 but arrived early and was seated immediately. Inside is very small and fits roughly 2 6 tops and a few bar seats. The interior color is red with mirrors on the walls and could use a little updating.
There is an indoor rap around front porch which our server let us move to after tables left. I highly recommend sitting out there for a better experience.
Our server was friendly and nice however service was slow. There was only 2 of them for about 10-12 tables and they tended bar, bussed, ran food, & served.
I got a burger and my husband got a ribeye. Decent burger overall. The steak was okay, weird greyish color and fatty. We enjoyed the calamari however it did have WAY too much sauce on it.

We moved to Oceanside 3 weeks ago and have been restaurant hopping ever since trying to find our “spots”. This is, by far, is the best of the best. Everything- food, service, prices, overall vibe.. just perfect. Not only great for date night but awesome for a happy hour hangout. Plus the patio is dog friendly! We will be back every week for sure! (And might regret sharing this gem)

Le Citron is an excellent find in oceanside! The food was excellent, and the service was really something special. Ingrid was our server and was wonderful. We had a number of tapas for the table and they were all perfect. Highly recommend the hummus, fried calamari, and brie en croute. We also tried their sangria with watermelon which was unique and refreshing. I would try this place while it’s new, because I think given some time it could become much more crowded.

It was the best food I have had while eating at a restaurant in a long time! The chef has a signature fish-dish and there is a signature desert but.. every appetizer the table ordered down to the steak was amazing to taste! Cute waiting staff to boot! I love that they have live music. I really appreciate that the downstairs (probably private intended for employee use only-sorry for not checking prior to using-) bathroom sink allows for 30-second timed hand washing and access to hand sanitizer to ensure clean hands prior to handling dishes! Score!.. plus bonus points on easy clean and way cute detailed floors. Cherry on top of it all is the extended back patio and even the cute front porch seating allows for dog-friendly, chill and truly a treat experience(d)- by me, at least! I loved the thicker but not home-style thick width of the crunchy well-portioned table fries. And the meats just as juicy and full of flavor as the paired sauces! Thanking you for the delicious meal and fair warning for if I pop back in with my two (me makes three) Great Dames. Wile love live music! Very nice restaurant serving a variety of food including streak, seafood, ribs, etc… the service was FANTASTIC (thanks Greg!) and the food was great. There was a hiccup with my filet not being cooked to order (came out too rare) but Greg took care of it quickly and efficiently.

Excellent find in Oceanside, all dishes were fabulous. Chicken tahini, seafood paella, fillet mignon, roasted mushrooms were exceptionally good, Laurie our server was a great addition to the mix, great people skills, pleasant and efficient. The food was as good as having it in the country of origin, if it wasn’t for the loud motorcycles you would not know that you were in California. Great place for a very savory and relaxing meal. Will definitely be returning.

We were three ladies that got there late because we are working women. This restaurant was the perfect place to end a long work week. The reason we ended up there from north county is we used to go to Calypso, which the owner closed and opened this place, I heard through the grapevine.
We could not believe how fun our waitress Tina was, we laughed about how complicated we were, so we had to have the wine complicated instead of the conundrum wine. Most of all, we couldn’t get over how excellent the food was and didn’t even know where to start; we ordered a little bit of everything. The shrimp in this sauce that was to die for, and the brussels sprouts with honey and bacon was my favorite. I cannot wait to go back and have it again. We will definitely be going back and back and back again. Tucker liked it too!!

We were taking a drive on Friday June 3rd and saw this place. On our way back to Oceanside we stopped here and we are so glad we did. Everything and everyone was just amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate us on what we ordered and wow what we order was fabulous. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection. Full of flavor and juicy. The mashed potatoes again perfect, nice and lumpy. So yummy. Thank you, Ingrid and to the chef who came out to present our steaks and sliced them up in front of us. Then later check on us. Thank you all for a special dinner for our vacation, we surely picked the right place.
