This is the best wine bar in the world. The selection of wines is astounding and varied. The Alsatian wines especially are fantastic. Michel (hoping we spelled this correctly) is incredibly knowledgeable. If you just give tell them a little about your preferences and how you are feeling they will take you on an epic journey through all the glasses that they will pour for you. Everything is so great here and especially all the people. We went three times because we loved it so much and even stayed an extra day in Colmar so we could go back.

We came two evenings in a row, we loved this place! The service was excellent – friendly staff, the chef delivered the platters and explained every item in English which was appreciated. The wine server was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and service was quick.
Excellent range of wines, and the food was exceptional. We had meat and cheese platters however the toasts looked amazing too!
Lovely ambience, always busy but able to get a table without a reservation. Highly recommended when staying in Colmar!

Great wine bar in Colmar. Cercle des Arômes offers an excellent selection of wines with a wide variety to choose from, perfect to pair with their cheese and charcuterie boards. The space is beautiful and full of character, creating a great atmosphere for wine lovers. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Definitely a must-visit if you enjoy good wine.

I was so excited for this wine tasting based on other reviews…but very disappointed in the actual wine tasting. Starting with the negative..the price of 49euros per person was for 7 tastings and a wine cheese pairing. We only received 2 small boards for 3 adults. (Note: The 1st board was provided for the first 5 wines… with no help/explanation of what to pair together. We asked if we would receive another board and did receive a 2nd board for the last 2 tastings.). The server truly tried her best to speak English but it was very broken. The positive is the wines they selected were mostly Grand Cru and delicious! I was just hoping for a better vibe and more of a true tasting with pairing guidance.

The best place to taste the local wines in Colmar. Just go and try Riesling wines. And very good staff btw. Reservation suggested..

If you enjoy drinking good wine , and want to discover more about Alsace wine, YOU MUST VISIT! Come to a tasting as soon as possible after arriving in Colmar. We drank a lot and learned a lot. A great evening. But this is not the place to buy a pretzel, try a boulangerie instead.

I thought I wasn’t a fan of white wine until I tried the Riesling in this wine bar! (Specifically the Riesling Grand Cru Winzenberg). The cheese plate was just okay but the Alsacienne toasts were very yummy!

Really friendly servants. Highly recommended to reserve a place in advance!
We tried Burrata and the mixed plate, really delicious. We also tried different Cremants and as a result of our „sample drinking“ we visited the winemaker next day and purchased the bottles directly there.

Cozy place with great service. The mixed plate was delicious, and we discovered many wines – asking for recommendations and enjoying our night. Would come back for sure! Many locals there. I think is an easy going place.
