Excellent restaurant with a bib gourmand recognition by the Michelin restaurant guide. Food was flavourful, Straight-forward and unpretentious. Fresh ingredients, excellent oysters. Cream, butter, sugar. If you want an upscale frech dining experience without the triple price of an actual Michelin star, head here. Reserve ahead, the place fills quickly after 7pm. We had a lovely night! Thanks to our quick and friendly servers!

The food selection is there well optimized on the taste and you will love it! Even our three kids (9 to 13) ate all of theirs course and love it!

Wonderful meal in a restaurant with good ambience and attentive waiting staff. We had two different fish main courses and they were both excellent – super fresh. The staff handled a restaurant that had mainly non French customers with consideration and respect. The cheese course was delicious with some honey and salad on the side and the lemon meringue was greatly appreciated by my husband. Well done Le Cambusier – we will be back.

I chose Le Cambusier for a low-key lunch to celebrate my partner’s 50th. The food and service were outstanding – and the house wine was lovely too. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm and welcoming. The staff went out of their way to help make it a memorable occasion by lighting a birthday candle and chorusing Happy Birthday when they brought out his meal. We chose dishes from both menu’s and shared our food and every mouthful was delicious and perfect. If I lived in Saint Malo I would eat there regularly and can completely recommend this lovely little restaurant. Thank you and hope to visit again in the future x

A pleasant find in the ramparts of St Malo. Simple dining area with nice ambiance, service was friendly and attentive. Centred around a set menu, they also offer seafood (oysters/whelks) and snacking options for a lighter bite.
Fantastic oysters. The sea bream carpaccio had excellent flavour however was served a little on the warm side. Cod main course with parmesan risotto and crustacean cream was delightful and we even tried the desserts. There is an extensive wine list with a French focus and at reasonable value.
4 stars on this occasion, I would certainly return to search for that special something to upgrade to 5 stars.
