A very nice gem in the 18eme . My girlfriend loved the octopus (marseille recipe they told me!) and in general everything was super great. My suggestion: Dessert to share!

Nice spot by side of Rue Lepic, and nice service too. But the food was very disappointing. The razor clams were sandy, and I feel the chef needs to learn about purging first. The main courses were average but really nothing special, and certainly not worth the price. Not sure if it was just a bad day or if the positive reviews are all written by starry-eyed tourists just happy to be dining on La Butte.

Delicious food (best I had in Montmartre by a long shot). The wait staff was rude, but I considered it part of the experience, I should probably learn better French

This was our favourite bistro in Montmartre – all the dishes were sublime, the wine list was excellent and the service was spot on. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Montmartre and looking for that perfect French dining experience. Thankyou!

I really wanted to like this place, but the service was just so incredibly slow. We were seated quickly and the server/host asked if we’d like a wine list, but it took 15 minutes to come back with it and another 10 to return to take our order. Once we ordered, it took 35 minutes to get our bottle of wine, and it seemed like the server genuinely forgot. Once we signaled and reminded him, he brought it over to show to us but forgot the wine key, so we back to get it and took another five minutes to return. In total, we sat for a full hour before we even received drinks, and the food actually came out before the wine.

The food was decent, though I’ll note that the English translated version was rather inaccurate. I ordered what on the English menu was listed as sweet potato gnocchi (I know, not French), but what came out was a soup with slices of sweet potato. Still had all the ingredients mentioned, just in a very different form.

Such a great meal! The scallops for the entree were divine! I had the chicken dish, partner had pot au feu, both fabulous. Dessert was Montmartre Brest. Nice service, atmosphere!

Good overall, we had mussels, fish, couteaux and some vegetables for starters. Not sure about the quantities that I found a bit small.
The white wine selection is great and service really friendly.
Would recommend for a tasty and cosy diner.

Best meal I’ve had in Paris. Small cozy restaurant with amazing staff. (Sorry guys I didn’t catch your names) you deserve a raise.
Loved the razor clam starter and the main course. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting.

Our group of 4 had a stellar experience here for Sunday dinner. We tried to dine Sat, but they sold out of their menu in 1.5 hours!

Apps: broccoli guacamole and gyoza were unique, tasty.

Mains: Veal chop (daily special), tuna, simmental beef – really incredible, highly recommend.

Dessert: chocolate soup with a house-made mint syrup and whipped cream, (heavenly! Not too sweet.) We also had a cheese plate.

Shout out to the new director, Martin, who is fantastic! He has impeccable taste and he truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. This place clearly cares about its top ingredients and execution of dishes, and it’ll remain a highlight of our dining experiences in Paris.
