December 7 2025 was the day i experienced the best food i have ever had in a restaurant! There are not enough words to describe how good this restaurant truly is! The owner Is amazing!! And the food is even better. I am still attempting to duplicate her Ginger tea!! The flavor of the food is second to none!! Every bite was an experience! If you have never eaten here i highly recommend you do it!! This place is truly special and I will definitely be returning!! You can tell the food is from the heart!

I’m writing this review as I still sit in the restaurant. This place was absolutely amazing. Everything was so delicious. I came with my family and everyone was absolutely delighted. We tried red snapper, yassa tofu, yassa yap, fataya, nem, oxtail soup, and fried plantains. Please try them so you can be delighted like we were. The empty dishes just prove how delicious everything was, lol!

Had a delicious Senagalese meal and experience with friends here. Mr. Mohammed & Chef Fa were so welcoming and kind. They offered us 6-7 samples of the different drinks available. I loved the Ginger Juice & Ditakh the most. All the drinks were sweet and refreshing. We also had these stuffed Fish Empanadas/Fataya, Yassa Yap w/ Jollof Rice, sweet plantain, oxtail stew, & fufu which were all so good with and without their spicy sauces. We ordered more Fataya to go because they were bomb. Will definitely be back for the food, good music, & vibes.

Wanted to try something different, and authentic. Saw a highly recommended review on Instagram so i decided to give it a try. Food was amazingly flavorful, and savory. Love how they let you sample the drinks if you not familiar with them. Had the signature Red Snapper w/rice, and salad. The fish was slightly overcooked on the outside but the inside was delicious. Presentation was awesome with the Africa shaped dished. Looking forward to going back and try the oxtail soup.

First time having African food. It was amazing. The flavors were intense. It’s a family-run business. The nephew who waited on us was very sweet and helped us through the menu and gave us some options that we absolutely loved. He told us about the oxtail which was amazing. The beef dish I had was delicious. The plantains were thick and sweet but not too sweet. The food takes a while to make as it is made by order. It was definitely worth the wait. I will be back again and I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10 recommend! The food taste like whoever makes the food loves what they do. It’s a must stop place to eat anytime I have friends/family out. I live an hour away & it’s always a place I’m excited to come back to.

The food is crazy! The best red snapper in the world! Auntie Fa is sooooooooo nice, we tried the oxtail and fufu and red snapper with jollof rice and it was crazy. The jollof rice had a perfect spice and the fufu texture was next level. The food takes a long time to get because the family works hard in the restaurant, it’s an amazing restaurant. Deserves a Michelin, actually THREE Michelin stars

How delightful to have this cuisine in town! We enjoyed the Yassa Yap & the fish Jollof rice! The Baobob drink was nice and took me back to my time in West Africa. Recommend the Tamarind drink as well – has a nice sour sweet taste.

Haitian Muslim here trying Senegalese food for the first time. I love the fact that everything is halal. I had the okra vegan stew with foufu, the Fataya fish puff pastry and the Senegalese cocktail. The okra stew was hearty and filling. I was offered some hot sauce and never have I had a flavorful hot sauce until that day. Hot sauces I’ve tried is just heat. But this hot sauce was flavorful and spicy. I’d use that to build my tolerance for the next spice up lol.. inshaAllah I will be back.
