My husband and I hastily chose somewhere to eat for dinner and accidentally stumbled upon the best meal we had yet and the only place we plan to eat at more than once during our 10 day stay in Grand Case. From the moment we walked inside, I was comforted by the charm of this small restaurant. Once I looked at the menu, and saw the reasonable prices, my expectations lowered. Seemed to me like a casual dining experience. To my luck, I found myself sitting in just the right spot to get a glimpse of the chef carefully preparing and plating each dish. We ordered the mushroom soup special and I noticed he made each serving TO ORDER. I would give up my arms and legs to live in and bathe in this mushroom soup. I also ordered veal soup for dinner and enjoyed it just as much. My husband got a lamb dish and we both didn’t speak until the food was gone. Dessert was amazing as well. They gifted us Champagne at the start of the meal to celebrate our honey moon and gave us two free shots each of incredible passionfruit rum at the end. Between one chef, a hostess, one waiter and one dishwasher, this incredible small team of lovely and hard working people delivered timely service to all 8 tables at once. If you want the best, lovingly prepared meal at the best price on the island for the highest quality, do not sleep on this gem…. but also keep it a secret!

A wonderful dining experience in every way! A warm atmosphere, genial ambience, and friendly, attentive service. The food was spectacular in every course. The hosts were welcoming and engaging with our young children, too. And the house rum was the best we’ve tried yet. Highly, highly recommended!

So much to say about this place. It’s a little quaint place. The owners are very helpful and attend to everyone’s needs. They pay attention to detail. I would recommend you phone before and make reservation. The food is well displayed and very tasty. They have a great selection of wines that suits well to the food. Portions aren’t to big for a three course meal. Very enjoyable.

This place has 5 stars for a lot of reasons. The place is beautiful, the dishes, chairs, all decorations are on point. As soon as we seated, they gave as a welcome cocktail that was very good. As the first course we chose the foie gras, the portion was ok for sharing, and the flavor was incredible! For the second course we had the 7 hours cooked lamb leg and a chef suggestion, which had lobster, spinach, cream all wrapped with a perfectly baked bread. For desert, the rock chocolate with pistachio and the puff pastry with mango and strawberry.
On top of all, the owners are a delight! They treated us with love, dedication, detail, we felt like we were friends hahaha.
If returning to St. Martin, we definitely will have dinner again here!

My husband and I had the best dining experience in the entire island at Le Bistronome! We’ve tried many good/ “Instagrammable”places in the area, but This place is a MUST when visiting Saint Martin. The prices are reasonable too. Excellent food, elegant & romantic vibe with an even great customer service. Everyone is so nice & friendly here. You can order anything from the menu and you can never go wrong with anything you choose. Food portions are generous and will fill you up.
We had the mussels and the asparagus soup as appetizers, which were extremely delicious & a must here. Main course: the lamb stew and the veal stew, both REALLY good!! Best way to end the night with the delicious desserts: the banana flambe and crème brûlée.
The owners provided us with complimentary champagne to start with and ended the night with a complimentary shot of rhum/Aperol.
Highly, highly, highly recommend this place & make sure you get reservations because there are only a handful tables that go fast. We’re so happy we got to try the food here. Thank you for having us!

Le Bistronome the best small restaurant in Grand Case. The decor is reminiscent of a Paris bistro. The food is a mix of both French and Caribbean spices. I highly recommend the bouillabaisse with fresh seafood stew or the heavenly 7-hour roasted lamb. The beef cheek with fois gras was also a bit hit at our table.

We absolutely love this place. The 7-hour lamb is perfect. The people are first-rate too.
This is that rare blue diamond on an island full of culinary gems. I only wish i’d had enough room to also try the beef cheek. Next time!

We were here in the spring and enchanted by this great French bistro. Came again last night and it was just as good! Complimentary Kir on the front porch watching the world go by followed by a wonderful dinner and Armagnac back on the porch and delicious apple tart. The inside of the restaurant is charming with a very cool vibe we sat next to the kitchen which was just great to see. Can’t wait to come back looked after wonderfully as always by Chantelle and her husband.

We were in grand case for a week and Le Bistronome was hands down our favorite place! You’ll get incredibly authentic French food in an unpretentious setting. The food was great, priced right and the owners really took care of us. Out of all the restaurants on the strip this is the one we cannot wait to visit again.
