My buddy flew in from out of state to see Colorado for the first time, so we came down to Lake City to ride the alpine loop. Alpine Loop Outpost had the gear we wanted and at a fair price. We booked for 2 days, rode 150 miles, and had an absolute blast. Doug was an incredible host, the rental process was quick and easy, and his trail recommendations were top notch. The machines they rent here are well maintained and in great shape. We ate breakfast here each day as well. The service was fast, the food was great, and they are open earlier than other options in town. Thank you to everyone at the Outpost for making this trip what it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Staff is amazing and very polite. Cozy atmosphere with some collectibles for sale inside, get your trip keepsakes and amazing food.

My go to for breakfast when I’m in the area… biscuits and gravy power train… eggs and hash browns didn’t make it long enough for a pic they were so good…

Hunters travelers gotta stop here and get fresh food, and the wait is not long at all for hot fresh food.

We ate breakfast there every morning that we were in town. Tried something different every day and it all was delicious. Owners are very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be there the next time we make it to town.

Make a trip to Lake City, CO to visit Doug and his team at the Alpine Loop Outpost. The team is serving up a delicious breakfast and amazing coffee to kick start your side by side rental with them as well. The side by side rental process was extremely easy and convenient. Doug walked us through the Alpine Loop map and gave us suggestions on locations to stop along the way. The rental way is great condition and made the drive seamlessly.

I visit lake city annually. This was my first time renting from Alpine Loop Rentals. Their vehicles are ready for any trail you can imagine. Thank you Raquel!! We visited the Blue Bird this AM. Had an amazing designer coffee, and blueberry turnover. This place is under new management and we enjoyed a long chat with the owner. This is a great place for fun gifts, outdoor artsy wind chimes and clay faces. He has socks, clothing, purses all in stock. We are going to go again before we head home.

Can’t say enough about the good folks at Alpine Loop Outpost. When my friends and I were stuck with a broken motorcycle, they opened the doors of hospitality. They furnished some needed tools available at no charge and even invited us in for coffee and let us use restroom to wash up. Doug is/was a gent and made it possible for us to effect repairs and continue our journey. Be sure to visit this place if in/near Lake City!!!
