My duck breast was amazing and the waiter recommended a good local wine to pair it with, I had an amazing dinner. The staff was really friendly and helpful, even though they were completely booked they looked for a space to fit me in and I’m really thankful for that.

We passed through the city and we noticed this cute bistrot many times and we were willing to try it out. We got the chance to eat here for dinner and we were all positively surprised. The entrée were all very good, especially the original truffle croque monsieur that was amazing. The main course was great too! The risotto was super tasty, the bao burger original and flavorful, the meat with the bread gallette too! We took two glasses of wine that suited the meal just finely. The dessert was very generous, the vanilla ice cream in particular, and the chocolate cake amazing.
Added to this, the two waiters were super nice and helpful, they explained the whole menu precisely and were very kind to us considered that we were not locals.
I suggest to try this place at least once, even just to have a nice and enjoyable meal in a very cute and pleasant atmosphere in the center of Montpellier.

Superb food in a very nice atmosphere (nice, trendy tables and chairs in a small square under a tree, in the very heart of Montpellier’s historic centre). The only (small) problem is that the names of the dishes are totally incomprehensible (but very original). The staff will explain everything, though, so, no problem at all. The tuna fish was delicious, and the salad with chèvre and ciabatta bread was excellent too. Great value for money.

I initially tried to get here for lunch but was ignored by the waiters. To be fair, there was only 30mins til closing.
Not to be deterred, I turned up at 2200 later that night and managed to get a table. Even though no one spoke English and I speak almost no French, I managed to order what caught my eye earlier during the day which was a simple dish of carbonara pasta.
I have no idea why that caught me eye, but it didn’t disappoint. The taste, the texture and the flavours were better than I had expected. I never had carbonara in that form, and am glad that my flight was cancelled and I was able to experience it.
The wine was from Chile and I know some reviewers were disappointed it was not French. Good wine is good wine, who cares where it comes from.
There was a table full of people who were friends enjoying a night out of wine and conversation. I hope to see my friends in that same table some time soon in the future

This resto located on the nice square with the view on the beautiful church. It grows big platanus (i guess), all those create “Ambiente”. The team is super friendly and the food was great. We were two times here. Very good price&quality combination.
