This is a must try truck in PDX! I recommend the pesto pasta with chicken, the jambalaya and the fried artichoke hearts (they make an in-house lemon dill sauce to dip in). I’ll be back every time I visit Portland moving forward!

Ordered the Mac and Cheese for $15.49 then added bacon. The plastic dish wasn’t even full…. I was so dissapointed. Tasted great but such a small portion for $15+ 🙁

Every time I come to Le bistro montage ala cart, I’m always served with phenomenal service. Evan, has served me before in the past and I have to say, he is so kind, so personable! Not only having excellent service, the food always taste so freaking good. I absolutely love coming here, I will make the 25 minute drive from where I am to just come back to this place! If you have not tried this food cart out, please do!! I got the creamy pesto with chicken and I swear your mouth will thank you! ❤️

Was wonderful to see the large group of people supporting this Portland Staple. The Grand Opening of Montage!
The Staff was hard at work making every meal a success*! As I stood in line waiting to place my order. I continuously heard people thanking them and speaking of how great the food was. I wish my turn and placed my order.. I ordered the deep fried artichoke hearts, as well as the jambalaya with chicken and alligator. I also had the Po boy with shrimp.
each and every dish was unique in its Cajun flavor the artichokes hearts were Crisp and tender. the jambalaya was spicy and cooked perfect. the shrimp Po Boy was filled with just enough shrimp to have a shrimp with every bite.. I’ll be back.. Thanks for the Great food.

We came from Seattle and specifically were looking forward to Montage. We did not know it had become a food truck, but we were eager to see how that translated. We walked up at 7:30 when they close at 8:00. The person working told us that he was taking a 20 minute break because it was too hot in the truck. Two other people who did not appear to work there were inside laughing and then the three of them left without even securing the truck. We opted to try other food trucks in the park and they were all 5 star!! While we have sat here eating for the last 45 minutes, the truck has remained unmanned (exposing the food or whatever else is in there), we’ve seen the worker staggering around with glassy eyes and flipping off other trucks. It was extremely disappointing as this was one thing we’d been looking forward to all week. Hopefully this employee does not represent this business because it is not worth it now. Go to another food truck and get some great food and excellent service

Normally, I really enjoy eating at Montage and have no issues. However today when I ordered my regular (an old mac with chicken) it had so much black pepper in it that I could immediately tell just by looking at it that something was off. I took a bite and the black pepper flavor was so strong I couldn’t finish the meal. There seriously had to be at least three tablespoons of black pepper in my pasta, if not more.
I didn’t want to write a negative review because like I said, normally the food here is great, but when I tried to contact the cart about my issue with my order I received no response and no resolution. I would have really appreciated it if I could have eaten my lunch.

I had an unfortunate experience with the packaging of my meal as the box was faulty, causing it to spill all over the table. When I brought this issue to their attention, they provided me with a replacement box to put the remaining food in put the remaining food in , which I found to be a bit ridiculous as half the food was spread out on the table I’ve visited food truck pods across the country, and I must say this was my most unsatisfactory experiences. The quality of the food was below par, and what made matters worse was the staff’s rudeness and their apparent lack of concern. It’s truly disappointing and not worth your time. evidence in the pictures below.

The food truck is just as good as the restaurant ever was. Savory and complex Fried Artichoke Hearts with aoli is such a treat, and to follow with the classic Old Mac is enough to convince me that they’ve kept the heart and soul of the brick and mortar restaurant. No compromise on the ingredients or quality and handing out a tin foil rose with the order is a great throwback to the old days. Collaborating with a number of excellent other food carts shows me they’ve evolved. Fireplaces, heated seating areas and global cuisine with beer and wine up front is quintessential Portland. As a humble fan of the old Montage, I am thoroughly impressed with the changes.
