We shared chocolate cake with ice cream! All I can say is warm and gooey! Need I say more
The staff was so very friendly and made us feel welcome! We enjoyed looking at the local artist paintings as we ate our meal.
Although some of it wasn’t the best, and some of the decorations were… questionable. Although, overall, I did enjoy a lot of it.
The service was alright, the waitress seemed a little displaced and annoyed. She was good at getting drinks to the table as well as refills. However, when we gave our checks, she disappeared at one point and we waited almost 20 minutes for her to return, causing us to be late for a meeting we had. There were no other customers in the building.
Now, to the worst part, the food. Flavor wise it was actually quite good. Everything definitely tastes fresh and homemade. But this is what sucks. The middle of my fries were cold. The ketchup tastes old. And my burger was raw. I did order medium rare yes, but it wasn’t medium rare, it was raw. I ate about half the burger without realizing.
I got back to my hotel and immediately vomited because the food didn’t sit right in my stomach.
I am very disappointed with Le Bistro. I’d give it another shot though, as some of the other dishes looked good and I truly and genuinely believe my food being raw was a mistake.
Just had dinner last night here. I wasn’t that hungry at first but the food was so good i wanted to try desert. I had the pear salad and tomato bisque soup, with bread pudding for dessert, every thing was delicious. I eat at the bar the service once again was inpeccable. Eat up drink up have fun!!!!
As you walk in, the ambience is nice. Good place to come to have a great meal without the loud music/noise to drown out your conversation. I happen to have forgotten my credit card and ended up having dinner there two days in a row.
It’s always a good start when the waitress brings out warm bread. I started off with Champagne pear salad. The first night I had the Butcher’s Choice, which was a filet, shrimp and scallop. The filet had a slightly hard crust and wasn’t as tender as expected but still enjoyable. The broccoli was way too salty and not edible. I finished the first night with a delicious chocolate chip bread pudding.
The second night I had the same scrumptious pear salad and the fresh catch entree. It was a wahoo with a ratatouille sauce over rice. I finished everything on the plate except the wahoo as it was over cooked and dry. I finished the night with a yummy cheese cake.
I am giving this review not as a criticism but as suggestions on where they can improve the restaurant. I want to see the Le Bistro succeed for many years to come as it is a gem for the community.
Next time I’m in town, I will surely visit again – Cheers
