Le Bellevue

  4.3 – 240 reviews   • Restaurant

My recent return to Le Bellevue at Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa reaffirmed why this remains one of my favourite destinations in Champagne.
The Champagne list is outstanding — thoughtfully curated, regionally expressive, and clearly built by someone who understands both heritage and terroir. The depth across prestigious maisons and grower-producers is impressive, with verticals and cuvées that allow true exploration of style, vinification, and village identity. It is not just extensive; it is intelligent and purposeful.
Enjoying these wines on the terrace overlooking the vineyards of Champagne is a privilege in itself. The panoramic view creates a powerful sense of place — you are literally tasting the landscape in front of you. Few experiences connect wine and terroir so seamlessly.
The cuisine at Le Bellevue is precise and elegant, designed to complement rather than overshadow the wines. Service is polished, knowledgeable, and effortlessly attentive — exactly what one expects at this level.
For professionals and enthusiasts alike, this is more than a restaurant visit; it is a complete Champagne immersion. I look forward to returning again.

Beautiful restaurant at the stunning Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, member of The Leading Hotels od the World.
Beautiful setting, delicious dishes (The Bresse Chicken was cooked to perfection!) And very friendly and professional staff.

The view and hotel are beautiful. The food is really very bad. Tasteless, and at times I felt like they had gone to a supermarket and just microwaved the food. The prices are absurd for such flavorless meals. I wish I had read the restaurant reviews beforehand because I would have only had a drink there. I see that the hotel keeps responding to the same reviews, saying they will pass it on and do something about it. I was there yesterday, and nothing has changed. I actually hope to get my money back with this review. Not only was the food bad, but the service was too. They are friendly, but we had to beg for drinks. Once we were seated, it took half an hour before we were helped. During our main course, we had no opportunity to order drinks. It’s a shame, especially since this was for my birthday. Please contact me and give me back our money it felt like a scam!

Nice spot in a beautiful hotel with a lovely view to champagne fields.
Food is tasty, well cooked, of great quality ingredients, but too expensive and too simplistic. In that environment and at that price tag, I’d expect to have dishes in the menu that are inviting, that are interesting, but instead we found a very plain, off-the-shelve brasserie menu

Stayed 2 nights at the Royal Champagne so we dined here one night and left the other night for Le Royal. Have to say, Le Bellevue was just as nice as Le Royal but less uptight.

Food was really delicious and the champagne recommended by the sommelier was incredible. Service was great and professional. Such a great dinner for our first night at Royal Champagne.

This is also where we had the breakfast. Food was also nice but selection was limited. A bit disappointing that, even though breakfast was included in our stay, we were charged extra for ordering from the breakfast menu (the truffle omelette was nice though). This shouldn’t have been the case for a luxurious hotel.

Such a gorgeous place, friendliest and most professional staff and service, and fantastic food! They made it so special for us. To not miss when in the region. It was the highlight of our trip in the Champagne region.

You pay for the view, which in all fairness is amazing. Menu is limited and just mwah, but certainly expensive. Service was below par for a place like this. Waiter was busy checking his phone vs serving his customers. The place is pretentious and not living up to who they claim/want to be.

Everything was absolutely superb. The beautiful atmosphere and exceptional food aside, what really made this experience so special were the staff surprising me with a birthday treat and more importantly our incredible server Lilou! We could not fault her service. She was so friendly and stopped to chat and get to know us.
Thank you Lilou!
