Had the best time dipping into this bar for a few drinks. The employees and owners were so so kind and fun, they took care of us after a few drinks with food and we made friends with locals in the area at the bar. The atmosphere is homey, lively and casual. Worth dropping by!

Stopped by here for dinner after a Broadway show and it was not a let down! The escargot was delicious. I ordered Salmon and they were so kind to substitute the cooked veggies with ratatouille instead. Although they forgot to bring out the wine I ordered, all was forgiven because I was too busy enjoying my food! Can’t wait to come back here again

This is by far my husband and my favorite restaurant we’ve ever been to. Not only do they serve some of the best dishes (appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks) I’ve ever had in my life, but every single employee at this establishment is welcoming, kind, and treats us like family. Ambience is perfect- cozy and lively. Not sure what the few ridiculous negative reviews are (probably written by professional karens), but we have never had a single experience here that has been less than spectacular. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly!

The bartender with cool glasses on “Omar” is the name of the amazing server/bartender that treated my dog and I with so much respect that I will def be coming back. He has the charisma that is missing in so many places! I had the best time drinking my wine with my dog! thank you!!

If you want a very authentic, well priced French bistro then this is the place. The staff speak French – a welcome tune in this city of French restaurants filled with waiters who can’t pronounce tartare correctly – and the service is the definition of French hospitality (outside of Paris off course).

Starters are delicious off course: escargot is up to par with the best, but do not skip on the salade lyonnaise and especially the fois gras crème brûlée – a unique dish with a light airy texture paired with crunchy caramelized sugar only seen on the very best crème brûlées.

The mussels are an absolute bargain – a massive plate of delicious mussels for 25$ paired with the most delightful bistro style French fries. We went with the classic marinière which was better than most I have had all over Normandie, and next time I will try the saffron mussels.

Don’t skimp on the burgers either – this place has never been on any burger list and yet it’s an awesome burger. We ran the French onion soup burger – a massive thick patty with melty Swiss cheese and bacon dipped in the most amazing soft and flavorful French onion dip. This is a flavor explosion paired with an AWESOME helping of fries and salad for once again a price of 20-28$.

The restaurant gave us complimentary limoncello shots and a free crème brûlée for dessert – a fantastic end to a brilliant dinner.

The decor, the vibes, and everything about le baratin whispers “you will eat great food here”. Nothing pompous, no weird two bite starters, no small portions, just hearty and soulful French bistro flavors.

Enjoy – one of my top French in the city 😉

I walked in and I said, wow. I know good places, and this is a good place. Small French bar, very classy, very smart. It’s the best. I only eat at the best restaurants. I got great service. Joh works there, fantastic lady. Beautiful lady. The most beautiful. I was treated like a VIP, which frankly I am. 5 stars for this restaurant. And never give 5 stars. But they really deserve it.

I have celiac and dined at this restaurant this past weekend. My food was not safe and I ended up sick.

After vetting on gluten free eating websites, I thought I would be safe. The waitress seemed knowledgable and was able to specifically name everything on the menu that could be made gluten free. I did specifically ask how safe the kitchen would be due to the severity of my situation. After putting in my order, she came back to inform me that fries I ordered would be cross contaminated due to a shared cooking space. She proceeded to walk away without providing an alternative. We were able to stop her and get that half of my meal swapped. I ate my meal and proceeded to have a reaction that kept me out of work the following day and needing to leave my shift early the next day. I will never dine here again and do not recommend anyone with an allergy dine here due to the staffs clear lack of care for their patrons with food sensitivities.

One of the best French restaurants I’ve ever been to. Omar, Allan, and Armand are incredibly kind, and Mike, the owner, is warm and welcoming. The whole team is amazing, the food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. I had such a great time and will definitely be coming back soon. Pure gold.
