This is truly a treasure off the beaten path. The rib special on Monday night is the BEST I have ever had!!! Great place to bring your family, or shoot pool, play darts and socialize. Did I mention the ribs are awesome? The new owners have expanded the restaurant and remodeled. This is truly one of our favorite places to go!

Friendly service and the whole place sang to granddaughter for her bday. Food was hot,good and done in a very good time. Will be back sometime we are in Missouri. We were a group of 9. Called day before and let them know about what time be in and they were ready for us. Granddaughter had ate the catfish there before and said that’s what she wanted so that’s what she got

Good food–just had to wait a long time for it. Appetizers came fairly quickly, but then we waited over an hour for our meals to be delivered. They were extremely busy with only one server who was run off her feet trying to keep up with everything. However, it is a small dining area with a small number of tables and diners. For the total number of diners eating there, it was an extremely long wait. The food was still hot when we got it, so the wait wasn’t with the server. The slowdown had to be in the kitchen. The food was very good once we got it. I had shrimp with fries and slaw. I generally am not fond of slaw but this was good. And, this is not a family restaurant. It is a bar/dining room not really suitable for children.

The owners are a husband and wife, she is always posted behind the bar with a beer and a cigarette sneering at everyone. The husband is more kind and easy going. They have raised the prices on all of the drinks and food, they don’t clean the bathrooms or mop the floors, this place is just not anything like what it used to be when Chuck and Sharon owned it.

We had heard about LD’s and we’re up in the area about dinner time and decided to give it a go.
We aren’t smokers or drinkers and if that bothers you then this place might be a problem. It is very much smoked in.
I was surprised with being off the beaten path a minute that there were so many customers. Including our party, there were four other tables of people.
They offer big screens (for viewing sports), pool, darts, karaoke, popcorn and a bar. I did notice they had pool tournaments weekly. I’m sure locals like to gather there.
Restrooms: There is an ordinance against any paper going down the toilets into the septic system, that was a bit unexpected.
Will we be going back to give it another go? Eh, maybe after we give other places in the area a try.

I’ve been here 2x now. Both times were great but I think me and the bartender have way different opinions on what’s not that hot and what’s way too hot bc them sweet and spicey chicken wings are definitely JUST AS HOT as Buffalo Wings. But all in all, great experience, friendly ppl and we’ll be back. ~ Amie
