Wow, wow, wow…. from start to finish…. true delights… great service, an enclosed open air patio and inside seating if you desire some A/C. We heard about the banana bread as a must. It was delish. I had my beloved hogfish and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had. Our group was happy with all dishes from app of lobster jalapeño bites, to the char grilled octopus, Calamari pasta, snapper sandwich, sweet potato fries… every thing was just perfect. We were on our way home so this was our last Keys stop and we were so happy to have a win to ease our pain of leaving the Keys… we highly recommend this spot and will definitely return!

We sat outside and had a timeeee. The food was incredible. Our server, Priscilla was a doll! She helped us choose what to get. We ordered 2 types of oysters, a lobster pasta, lobster roll, and the smoked fish dip. The drinks were also delicious. Not too strong and delicious!

Lazy Lobster in Key Largo is hands down the best seafood restaurant we’ve ever been to. I’ve honestly lost count of how many times we’ve visited—because it’s our absolute favorite and never disappoints.
From the moment you walk in, the vibe of the place makes you instantly happy. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and perfectly Key Largo. The service is always top-notch: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
They start you off with complimentary banana bread, and it is nothing short of heavenly—soft, flavorful, and a perfect way to begin the meal. The mojito is fantastic and incredibly refreshing.
As for the food, every single dish is a winner. The lobster rolls are unforgettable, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We’ve also tried the mahi mahi matecumbe, whole fried snapper, salad, and the French onion soup, and every bite was outstanding. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Lazy Lobster is one of those rare places where the food, service, and atmosphere all come together flawlessly. If you’re in Key Largo, this spot is an absolute must—once you go, you’ll keep coming back just like we do!

We spent an amazing evening at this place.
The food was really great (we had fresh oysters, grilled fish and octopus).
The octopus was very tender as it should be (it is not always the case, a proof of its freshness).
As we are big amateurs of oysters, we were surprised to taste these which are fresh water ones. Their taste is very gentle and soft, far away from the iodine taste we’re used to with the usual sea oysters.
In addition, the service was very friendly and attentive.
Cesar was our waiter and he could answer any question we had about the food (i.e. the origin of the oysters and local beer recommendations according to our taste).
The rest of the team was also adorable and very friendly to us, we felt like at home!
We’ll definitely stop by again on our next visit to the Keys!

Back patio was almost fully shaded. Priscilla was great. The food was exceptional. I got the catch of the day almondine style. I chose the type snapper I hadn’t heard of previously. It paired perfectly with the almondine key lime sauce.

The waitress and staff were friendly and attentive. The complimentary warm banana bread was great. However, the food was alright. The tuna tartare chips were a bit stale, the grilled grouper was dry and without much flavor.

I fully believe that food isn’t just consumption, but an experience. this restaurant, lazy lobster, is an amazing experience.

ATMOSPHERE : the atmosphere is laid-back. it reminds me of a surf shop. they were playing very nice reggae music in the background which further added onto the elements of it being like a surf shop.

SERVICE : the service was very good. The waiter was friendly and open for conversations. The food was quick to arrive. Everything was nice. all of the waiters were kind.

FOOD: as I said in the beginning, eating food isn’t just consumption, but also an experience. The food they had completed the experience. The ribs that I ordered were OK they were in the best, but I wouldn’t mind eating it.

The Keylime pie was spectacular. The top was a meringue, which was light, airy and sweet. The middle was very thick sour tangy and a bitter. The piecrust was very nice. It was buttery and melted in your mouth, and it also carried a little bit of a nutty flavor, which I think contrasted very well with the meringue and the Keylime

I would come here again.

Stopped here on the way to the keys. Very pleasant staff. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Start out with a loaf of banana bread. They have plenty of food options. They have higher end food and sandwiches – so enough for all. We ordered the seafood chowder to start, which was good. For dinner we had the coconut shrimp dinner and the shrimp was nice and plump – you get plenty. The lobster Mac was 10/10 MKT price $58, sooo good. Got the catch of the day sandwich and upgraded it to Hogfish with fries. Was really good. I’d come here again.
