If I could give this place more stars I would. I forgot to take pictures of the scenery with was beautiful. Seagulls and the shore are feet away from the tables. The seagulls are catching fish in the water and do not disturb the guests at all. My wife and I got grouper cheeks and clams as appetizers. I would go back just for the grouper cheeks. They were delicious and fresh. Nothing against the oysters, they were delicious. It’s just that grouper cheeks is not seeming I see often. The fried snapper was delicious. The side salads were hearty. My wife got the lobster thermador. She loves it. They also start you off with two types of breads. One is a banana nut bread. It was spectacular. We look forward to going back and trying other plates in the menu.

Fantastic Seafood Spot Right on the Water!
Lazy Days in Islamorada is the perfect Keys vibe—relaxed, oceanfront, and seriously delicious. We stopped in recently and the seafood was very good—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. Everything tasted like it came straight from the water that day, which is exactly what you want in the Florida Keys!
The views are unbeatable with that beachy patio seating, gentle waves, and laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re on vacation (even if you’re local). Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole place has that classic Islamorada charm.
If you’re craving top-notch seafood in a stunning waterfront setting, Lazy Days is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! It was difficult finding a parking space bc it’s obviously a very popular place, for good reason. Despite how busy they were, we were seated immediately (on the deck with a beautiful view), were immediately waited on, food arrived swiftly and was AMAZING! We were finished so quickly that I didn’t want to leave, so we sat there a few more minutes finishing our drinks and did not feel rushed at all. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing restaurant! The service was great and the portions were absolutely huge. We sat outside right next to the beach, and the view made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxing, the food came out fast, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. If I’m ever back in this area, I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend!

My family were visiting this area for a wedding and a nice local lady recommended Lazy Days Restaurant to us and we were glad she did!

There were seven of us and we were greeted and seated within a few minutes of our arrival for dinner.

We shared appetizers of Calamari, Grouper bites, blue point Oysters, and loaded Potato skins. I tried them all, and everything tasted fresh and delicious!

For our meal my wife and I shared the Lobster Atlantis. It was mouthwateringly good!

For dessert we had a slice of amazing
Key lime pie.

Our server was funny, friendly and helpful.

The shore-side atmosphere and outdoor seating was great on the beautiful day we were there.

Overall it was a great experience!

Great selection of food on the water for a beautiful view. The prices are a little high but it is a great experience. Portions are medium to large and very flavorful. We had very good service and the food was served quickly and accurately. They have a dock with a couple spots if you want to come by water.

I have to say it made my day. We ordered a Tuesday special salad with shrimp and conch ceviche. The conch meat was disappointing. It was over cooked and very dry. No conch meat texture at all. Other than that. Everything else was great. We really enjoyed lay back lunch with wine and beers.

We came here after checking the Google reviews since it’s known as one of the most popular spots in Islamorada. The place is definitely less touristy, quieter, and the overall view and atmosphere are nicer compared to similar places. You can tell it’s a spot that local people visit often. Staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the experience.

We tried white wine, piña colada, and the Lazy Killer. The white wine was good and the pour was generous. However, the piña colada was honestly one of the worst I’ve had, and I could barely taste any alcohol in the Lazy Killer. I love key lime pie and eat it quite often, but theirs was below average in my opinion.

It’s normal for popular tourist areas to have mixed experiences, but because of the drinks and dessert, I wouldn’t personally return.

Food was under seasoned. Had to season a lot with salt and pepper. Both sauces that came with Coconut Shrimp ($16) and Blackened Hog fish ($39.99) were sweet. Salad was good. Expected great seasoning given the price tags. Service and location are top notch. May be just go for the view and drinks.
