Was amazed this brand is older than canes and under the marketing radar around Austin and San Marcos. But wow it was much better in my opinion than canes. The bread is better, the fries and tenders are just perfect. Canes has a flour after but Lanes is just tastier all around. Plus they do grilled cheese and wraps and just have friendlier varieties for all appetites. And not to mention Slim Chicken which is totally in last place. Lanes is all you need.

This was a really good choice. The chicken is crispy but wasn’t dry at all. I was expecting a plain tender but it actually has a little bit of seasoning so that was a nice surprise. The fries were crispy outside and soft inside, love it! Their Layne’s sauce was unique, a bit too peppery for my taste but I’m sure someone will like that.
The service was fast and the food was hot and fresh. Bonus the to go box is a like plastic or cardboard so no melting styrofoam from hot food.
Only thing I’d say was I was hoping/expecting the tenders to be just a bit bigger. Not a huge deal but still.
Definitely will come here again.

I love Layne’s since the very first time I showed up in the drive thru and they weren’t even open yet but in all seriousness. Their chicken is amazing!!! I recently discovered that they have gravy too. I like the Layne’s sauce but I really like fried chicken with gravy. The staff is always so nice. I am now in love with their new plastic cups! I had never paid attention to the signs inside and the sauce father one is funny.

The Chicken Fingers were moist and tender so delicious. The French fries were wonderfully cooked to perfection, served with Ranch and Layne’s Sauce. The Restaurant has a great vibe with a high ceiling and natural light, and is very clean. Loved their drink selection, acai – blueberry – pomegranate vitamin water was my favorite. Customer Service was fabulous, Velia was very friendly and helpful.

These chicken fingers are noticeably better than Cane’s. The spicy is actually spicy. The fries have a coating that are super crispy. The Texas toast was an afterthought for me but the fingers were great. I enjoy this batter, it’s crispy and doesn’t flake off.

Delicious food. Definitely better than the restaurant that sounds like Layne’s but with a C! The chicken was so tasty. Perfect crispy crinkle fries. My favorite thing was the Layne’s sauce. So much good flavor. Definitely will be back!

Update:I would like to start off by commending Stefon for his excellent customer (People need a to be trained by this man). I was contacted by Noah who took his time to understand the situation and make things right. Not only that but the follow up by Noah is more than geatly appreciated. Really Layne’s A Piece Of A Metal Scrubber Pad Sticking out of my chicken finger!!!!! Really loved this place until this happened. Then I was willing to speak to someone about it and get this resolved. But 2 days and no contact back from Layne’s after leaving an email to HR is ridiculous. Oh and in top of that when I spoke to the manager at the San Marcos Location trying to explain the problem, I was told ” Well I wasn’t working last night so………”. Even more ridiculous. Still here waiting Laynes

Chicken is still great tasting & hot, but oh my gosh the fingers have shrunk. The friendly employee wasn’t here and the one that is only talked when she told me my total. I had to request to add me appts to my reward acct. Oh and colored water served for tea. Sadly just not on point today.

I have always driven by this business and I have heard quite a bit about it from other people, so I have been meaning to come by. Upon stepping foot into the establishment, I could smell the fried chicken fingers and their spices from the kitchen. The dining area seemed very clean and pristine. The lady that tended at the register did an amazing job in showing great customer service. As for the food options and quality: excellent and perhaps even diverse as opposed to that other chicken place with the doggy lol. Overall, the experience was pretty good. Would come back.
