We did takeout for a family meal. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauces were delicious as always-
We got the jalapeno ranch and the layne’s sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted with the right amount of butter and garlic. The fries rounded out our meal. Someone wrote a very nice note on our take out bag that said Stay safe and warm out there. Thought that was a very nice touch. We will definitely be back!

This is a late review but better late than never ☺️. I ate here a few weeks ago meeting a friend. The music playing had me dancing and singing. I was greeted by Charity, owner, she was pleasant and kind and she liked my positive attitude and gave me one of their signature cups . Nate, Charity’s husband and also owner was also kind and friendly. The food was delicious and FRESH! The service was quick. Their hospitality was top tier. They checked on us and offered us samples. Ever since I have been craving chicken fingers and I’m long overdue to go back . I highly recommend this location. Lovely couple!

Places you shouldn’t eat or waste your time or money…. I attempted to get this $15 value of a tender meal corrected and the customer service I experienced was distasteful, horrible and a complete disregard of my travel and time as I went out of my way to get this issue fixed. Layne’s is not consistent with quality and rude when you ask them to respectfully make things right. Photos provided.

NEW LOCATION- on Baum Blvd. Layne’s Chicken is famous for their hand breaded chicken. While there, obviously had to give the tenders a taste. They were so good- perfectly crispy. Their golden crinkle cut fries and Texas toast are a staple that come with a meal. The fries are crispy and crunchy. The Texas toast is a nice touch! They have a variety of sauces, but I fell in love with their Layne’s sauce. They also serve gourmet milkshakes that are delightful. Tried the Oreo- it was so good, the consistently was perfect! Super friendly and fast service! There are a few locations popping up throughout Pittsburgh- so be sure to be on the lookout and try Layne’s!

Right across from Shadyside Hospital! Was able to walk across the street and grab a family meal deal that fed everyone holding vigil over a loved one in the hospital. Friendly staff, clean dining room, delicious food. Very convenient in a time of stress.

1st time customer and I was blown away. This is not your ordinary chicken. Crispy outside juicy inside and flavor thru the roof. Nice clean atmosphere and friendly helpful staf. Jalapeno ranch is a must.

Ordered here only twice with this being my second time and I am hooked. Consistently delivering on great quality chicken (obviously) and all of your other food! I haven’t found one item on the menu I haven’t liked at this restaurant.
The chicken doesn’t rely on sauce to taste good and is super juicy and crunchy. While the sauce makes it all the more better pairing it with spicy chicken is perfect in my opinion.
My main reason for writing this is not only for the food but for the service and customer satisfaction I received. Unfortunately you guys were out of gravy the night I ordered and while I really wanted to try this I completely understand. But someone did write on my bag “no gravy sorry :(“. While this may seem small this is big for the current state of fast food service.
Instead of opening the bag to be dissatisfied someone went out of their way to try and let me know before I actually opened the bag. Small things go a long way with a lot of people especially myself.
Overall great food, quality, and service. Still can’t wait to try the gravy lol.

No lie, the chicken actually has flavor. Unlike their direct competitor, the chicken can be eaten without the sauce. Worth giving them a try, I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! Definitely gonna try a sandwich or wrap next time

I loved it from the moment we walked up! Catchy funny phrases. Slightly dark humor. Clean. The chicken was delicious. I love Texas toast. I highly recommend.

This was my first time trying Layne’s. They were good, but they’re no Cane’s. Menu is simple: tender meals, sandwiches, family size deals. Service was good enough. Location is the old Baum Blvd. Boston Market. They could have gave it more of a facelift inside, it’s a little drab. But good enough. Seems like they do mostly take out.
My food was hot and fresh. The chicken was really tasty. But still a runner up to Cane’s in my book.
I’d definitely come back here though!
The “Welcome to Fingertown” slogan is a little cringey. Corporate may want to rethink that one.
