We went for lunch after my wife’s graduation. The menu was amazing when we looked online and it’s why we booked. It was an excellent decision. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and attentive. As it was graduation season there were quite a few larger bookings in but the staff coped really well with this. Most of the seating is upstairs with some tables downstairs when you come in. Woth a visit if you’re in Lincoln. The cost was great value for amazing food.

we visited towards the closing time on sunday and the service was amazing, and the food was even better. The BBQ pork belly was just amazing and the beef blade just fell apart! The meal with two courses and drinks were reasonably priced aswell for around £21! 10/10 would visit again.

Had the set xmas menu, party of 4 everyone enjoyed all 3 courses, food was bought out in a timely manner, hot and the waitresses were lovely.
We were a little late to be shown to our table but you can’t help the time the people before had taken. So that was no problem.
The restaurant is beautiful and didn’t feel like tables are crammed in to seat as many as possible. I would definitely recommend and I will be back in the new year with my husband.

Had a lovely Valentine’s lunch at Lawson’s. Despite them being very busy the service and pace of food was great. All three courses were delicious, particularly the special of peppered beef tagliatelle and the blade of beef main.

I’ve been here twice now on a Sunday. Lovely restaurant with super efficient and friendly staff. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed the food. Very fresh and good quality. If you visit be sure to taste their HOMEMADE sticky toffee pudding. Its delicious! Lunch menu was really good too TWO COURSE £16.00, THREE COURSES £20.00

We couldn’t fault a thing at Lawson’s. The food was delicious and piping hot and didn’t take long to arrive after ordering. We don’t normally have three courses because a starter and a main course fills us up, but we still felt comfortable after our desserts.

Good food and decent value for what you get – a kind of modern British/modern European style of food. Service lacked attention to detail and the decor in this place is awful. But very good, hearty food at a reasonable price with a good drinks selection to match. I went for a romantic evening and it doesn’t really have that ambience. Probably better for lunch than dinner, atmosphere-wise.

I thought surely all the 5 star reviews can’t be right, and I was correct… But they don’t let you give 6 stars out of 5! It was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten, we didn’t need knifes with our mains and that’s not because of the urge to unhinge our jaws like a snake and eat it whole, it just fell apart. 10/10 would come again.
