Went there twice in one week. The first time the food was delicious the cook knew what she was doing that’s the first pic. The second time different cook and you can see the second pic. He didn’t know how to scramble eggs or make pancakes. Then for the exact same meal I was charged $5 more the second time. They really need to get rid of the flies in the dining room it’s at least 10 plus flying around in there get some fly paper or something.

I almost passed on this place because of the bad reviews. I assure you that they are not correct. Don’t miss out on a good meal because someone left a bad review. It is definitely an old school place but it’s far from the way it is described in some of these reviews. The bathroom was not only clean but it smelled clean too. Other than that I will let these photos speak for themselves….

Here’s the facts.
The good;
The staff is top shelf, good people, caring and helpful.
The bad;
Very dirty inside, including a 3/4 eaten dinner plate left on a table that appeared to be there for a few hours lol.
If you’re an OTR Driver, they have let the parking lot go, meaning huge pot holes and I believe 1 section of quick sand behind the building??? Be careful driving around here.
The food;
Actually not too bad. The food was ok but less enjoyable due to the old dirty tables and chairs, dirty cups, falling ceiling tiles, dirty walls and a general lack of care of the “diner” by the owner.
Old pictures show a much better atmosphere that is not present now. When I arrived it didn’t even look like the diner was open from the outside looking in. If they took some money and fixed up the inside and property I believe it could be a good spot.

literally the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. People were smoking inside of the restaurant. It wasn’t busy and it still took me an hour to get three chicken tenders. And if you’re wondering how the food tastes.. I’d rather eat garbage.

I don’t like to see a business fail, but all pictures on here are old. The diner is closed. There are pictures of homestyle meals, gyros, and shwarma on the windows, but the only food that they had was in a hot bar at the register. This was very mostly corn dogs and chicken tenders. The entire place smells of cigarette smoke. I hope they make a comeback since it has great lot for truckers to park.

I won’t give this place any stars!! The health dept needs to be called on them. Place is gross! Trash piled in trash can inside restaurant food drink running down the wall. Don’t get me started on the bathroom!! Smells bad of cigarettes cuz there employees are smoking in there. The food was bad I had pancakes I figured u can’t go wrong with batter and water but think again!!! They weren’t cooked all the way and they tasted like grease like no one has cleaned the grill in years!! I would just strike a match on this place and run!!!

The cheeseburgers are very good. Can buy up to 1 pound burger. I got the 12 ounce size. Tasted so good. Do not be upset on the building just order the food and leave. Eat in your vehicle. Those of you who must have the cleanest and nicest places this not for you. But the food was great.

Now Jean’s Diner…It was apparent from seating as the couple at the next table left without touching their coffee. We enjoyed the owners friendliness and seemed very genuine. When we arrived the kitchen was full of visitors eating food around the prep area. Not something you want to see if your ordering food. We ordered eggs, sausage and pancakes. I had to use a napkin to soak up the grease on the eggs and had three bites of the pancakes as the grease saturated the first poured side. What a waste! The appearance of the kitchen was not good and looked like a nightmare, they should keep the door closed. If you are COVID conscious you would be best advised to avoid completely, no one wears masks including the cook.. Now you might understand why the first couple left. Wish we would have. I wish them success, but much will have to change. $$$

This place is not for the faint of heart. How it passes a health inspection is beyond me. And when you walk in don’t sit down right away, go find an employee to let them know you’re looking to order. If you don’t, you may end up sitting alone for 10 to 15 minutes while they’re off shooting the breeze.
That being said, the food itself isn’t too bad. I have stopped there several times in the past and noticed it going down hill but still a good place to grab some breakfast. I usually go with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. Pretty hard to mess that up so I feel it’s a safe bet. There is also a smoking section which is an anomaly nowadays, but if that’s something you’re looking for then enjoy.
